Say you get sync killed or someone tries to revive you and they failed...and then fifteen seconds later, you're back on your feet like nothing happened. What's the deal here? Necromancy? Clones? Stunt doubles? Understudies?
Maybe instead of having them all hiding under the map, waiting for you to die, they could fight alongside you. Once you bleed out, that's it, game over, but you have 10 AI characters of whatever kit and loadout you picked helping you fight, reviving you and each other and teammates, holding the extraction on wave 11, and doing objectives (in other words, 40 allied NPCs on the field at once, all doing the same device--how could you fail? perfect for platinum!). Newbies to platinum should be able to get whatever they want with no work. They might not be smart enough to know how to do objectives even with invincible characters, so giving them some help would make the game fair!
After all, most characters and setups are useless compared to Reegar Incendiary IV, so maybe instead of those other characters collecting dust, you can bring them in and they can help you hold the line!
