2186. London. The city is a shell of its former self, and the survivors of the initial attack are in a constant battle for survival. Reaper ground forces have taken control of most of the city, and all resistance is disorganised and is being slowly whittled down. The Alliance has promised to send reinforcements, but none have arrived.

The main battleground is the Thames. The Reapers have destroyed nearly all of the spaceports in the city, so the river is the only supply line left - those at the outskirts of the city, who have been affected less, are sending weapons and ammunition. For the Reapers, taking the river would mean cutting off the last supply line in the area, and it would allow them to gain a foothold to take the rest of the city. For those who are fighting against them, the area around the river has been swarmed by Husks and Banshees, making it difficult for them to reach the river, let alone defend it. There has been word that four Reaper Destroyers are heading towards the location. Unless the area is cleared, and the pressure taken away from the river long enough that preparations can be made for the inbound Destroyers, London may be lost entirely.

This is my first created RP, so if I haven't done something right and/or it's not very good, just tell me. :)

Lauren de Vesci deactivated her tactical cloak, placing the case with an assault rifle and thermal clips down upon the stack that they had managed to gather in the centre of the relatively small camp that the resistance held. The amount of weapons and ammunition that were being sent down the Thames was rapidly decreasing, and orders had been given to conserve ammunition wherever possible.

Although she was definitely not the military type, she liked to provide assistance wherever she could - whether it be transferring messages from one camp to another, or rescuing packages for the river.

She pulled her hood up over her head, shivering slightly at the cold of the night air. Lauren walked to the fire in the centre of the camp, sitting down beside it. She activated her Omni-tool, tapping on it for a moment in an attempt to call her sister.

A moment later, her sister's face appeared in the orange of the Omni-tool.

"Are you alright?" Lauren asked her, attempting to shield her computer from view.

The image of her sister nodded, "Yeah... It's just hard... I miss you..."

"I miss you too," she responded, "I will return once the Thames is taken back... It's just that there are four Reapers heading here and there are a lot of their... things... trying to take this area. But I promise I'll come for you. I promise."

Her sister smiled sadly, "Thank you, Laur. Just be careful. Please, don't get yourself hurt... I couldn't stand it if you were injured."

"I'll be careful. I'll speak to you tomorrow... Goodnight."

She ended the call, and curled up beside the fire, and fell asleep to the sound of the Reaper horns and the screeching of Banshees in the city.
