Cerberus is pretty easy. That doesn't change the fact that they annoy the hell out of me.

 

I'm convinced that I've had more Cerberus wipes in PuGs than anything else; they're either laughably easy with the right kit or, with the wrong kit, probably the hardest faction of all IMO.

 

Either way they're by far the most annoying; every single unit has something that's a pain in the *rse about it.

I agree completely.  Geth stunlock may be a pain, but it's rare to wipe because of it.  Cerberus turrets, on the other hand, along with Phantom flips and host BS, silent Dragoons, smoke, dancing Nemeses and science-defying Atlas rockets are all much more likely to result in unsuccessful missions.  I also hate the imbalance of the wave budget on Gold, where I play 95% of the time, and so I'm always on the hunt for the near-mythical Guardians.

That's a mean and petty thing to wish upon someone.

I find it really depressing when I get 24 hours in the barn for simply stating the facts, and then can't make a robot servant race or Han'Gerrel themed alt due to either racism or lolorigin technical difficulties. Human networking technology at its finest, I suppose.

Apparently, I was abusive toward Limbs. Being the completely somber and serious poster she is, no doubt her feels were severely hurt by my totally not humourous or hyperbolically pernicious remarks.

I find it depressing that I have to choose between melee and health/shields.

The fact that there are only 2 salarians is quite depressing too.

As much as I rag on them for being the lesser tech race, 2 salarians compared to 4 baterrorists, 3 vorcha and 4 goddamn volus is thematically quite silly. I mean, we nearly have as many of a Council race as playable Collectors.

Still, SP salarians for the most part (exept for that badass Kirrahe and his buddies) do decide to be whiny babbies and not help you with anything unless you extinct the krogan, which is sort of dickish, so I guess it canonically makes a little sense that you only get a few.

Why does anyone still play this game?

I had lots of fun playing Mass Effect 3. Met some great people in this game. Now I, I like to look back on all those times with a sad fondness; the bittersweet memory of something which was great while it lasted, but it's time has now passed.
