This is probably one of the hardest things I have EVER had to answer...I love so many different forms of chocolate, my favourite changes depending on my mood I suppose. Right now, I would have to say this is my favourite:

Next time you have some dark chocolate, pair it with a Full-bodied red wine (zin, petite syrah, Bordeaux etc)

the only good thing to come out of Brussels was JCVD.

I eat like one Toblerone bar a year. That's it. Not a huge fan of chocolate.

 

I used to like Aero, Eat-More, Snickers (always better when frozen, just don't break your teeth) and Hersheys Cookies and Creme, and will still pick one up if the mood strikes me, but it rarely does. Never been a sweet eater.

Recipe

    2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2 cups chopped pecans

 

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Forming the dough into a ball, wrap in saran wrap and chilling for about an hour before baking will reduce cookie spread.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Boy, I like all kinds of chocolate. But Ritter Sport comes to mind, had that more  than any other brand so far.

 

On the neggie note: the only thing that comes close to annoying me is heavy amounts of mint in them.

Marabou -- I admit, that the Swedes makes some damn good chocolate, but they also brought IKEA to the world so I think that make things karmatically even.

Those Lindt chocolate spheres are pretty amazing. The white chocolate and peanut butter chocolate ones are my favorites.
