Female Elf fun to play as story-wise?

So I completed DA:I with a male Human warrior and loved it, that was a couple of months ago. I now want to play through the game again as an Elf because the story is meant to be really good as an Elf. I normally play male characters but the male Elf body is just, well, ugh.

So my question, should I endure the male Elf's "noodle" arms or make a female, which gender has the better story experience?

Also, please don't give away any spoilers cheers.

Absolutely. Play the city elf though. Better origin in general compared to Dalish, and it's the only origin that makes there be significant in choosing male or female (female's version is better), and Dalish armor on females is a ridiculous 2-piece that leaves your torso completely exposed which is just completely stupid. And pick rogue, it makes much more sense for the character than being a warrior. Don't pick a mage either, being a mage takes far more precedence than being an elf which means that you won't really get the "feeling" of being an elf if you pick that origin for the sake of trying an elf out.

And romance Zevran. Not only does it mean your Warden maybe having a kid one day means it will be an elf child, but somehow it's fitting for elves to end up together. And if you've never tried his romance out, I warn you (in a good way)... He has a lot more depth of character than you might expect. And when he gives you a ring, turn it down the first time since it's not a proposal yet. Take it when he offers again as a proposal. This paragraph is simply a suggestion that is optional, but definitely do the first paragraph's advice.

I must ask though, why bring up DAI? You did... Post this in the right section... Right ? I mean, noodle arms? DAO male elves don't have that issue. Did I waste my time with this post, or did you really ask this in regards to Origins?
