I haven't played the game or kept up with the news these past few months. I do recall hearing something about a patch that made the banter frequency less random (patch 4 I think?). Anyways, I just started a playthrough yesterday and I'm about 8 hours into the game. I played a bit in hinterlands and even went to the storm coast for an hour. I made sure I was playing offline and had all my journals/codexes cleared. My game is fully updated and I never used my mount. Yet despite all that, nothing has changed from when I last played the game back in December. I'm still not getting as much banter as I should be. In my playthrough so far, I've only gotten 3 conversations. This was on a ps4. I'm guessing I'm not the only one still having this problem either. Has Bioware said anything about a future fix?
I'm really hoping that in future games, they go back to the old banter system where you get banter just by walking past a landmark like an inn or a bridge. Atleast that way, you're guaranteed to hear all the banter in the game. With this current system, it feels like I'm playing an incomplete game...
