You should max HG, and if you aren't going to max TC, only use 4 points. No reason for the cooldown rate, when you cloak and shoot immediately, you always get a 3 second cooldown, regardless of your weapon weight.

understandable. But you're not always 1vs1 babby. Especially when Geth or Goons swarm you. It's nice to have some of their medicine and feed it back to them
But with Recon Mine spamming you can 1vsN baby
, those Geth or goons never had a chance.

I Love the Venom Assassin...Take the Radius /Fire/Split evos on Homing grenades...take grenade gear..Have fun nuking Spawns with grenades ...I fully spec into recon mine ONLY for slowing down Bosses/spawns...I hate spammers so I dont do it myself

This is true, but I can deal with only 4 in Fitness. He is quite fast already, and I usually roll with Adrenaline unless I really wanna go all out and go Power Damage. My standard is 4/6/6/6/4. The HG's are just too good to pass up!

True. But RM splosions can be annoying for teammates, because they block their view as well as Centurion smoke nades. Also they take a while to arm and sometimes tyou need a stagger instantly.
I don't use DI very much, but when using Volus Engineer I try not to explode RM's too much, but rather give teammates and myself a debuff for as long as possible.

You can't be too fast with a Drell. His fitness must be maxed out, there's no exceptions for me. Speed is the only thing he has going for him.

My Build..the way I use recon mine...just to slow down the spawn...get there..fire Venom..unleash Fire Spec'd Split grenade hell ..keep Venom blasting till everything is dead...detonate and move on ..I know most people like Sniping with him..I just found this combo to be really fun and you are killing things so fast, the match seems to be a 10 minute LOL fest.

True, that's why I always play lone wolf as DI, let teamates struggle at LZ while I do the carnage on other side of the map, because I don't want to block their view.

The grenades don't actually do anything, but you can use your speed to drain all the boxes and make everyone hate you even moar. Scorpion is there because 2.6 second cloak recharge and ability to cause screenshake.

Just yanking your chain because I've got issues with the constant detonations giving me headaches. Have you got a link to your inventory? I can't help but feel you've got better options than the CSMG. The Arc pistol for example would be better if headshots are your thing.
Tried the Arc Pistol, it's okay, just not my cup of tea. And I'm not the best when it comes to consistent headshots unless I have a fully automatic weapon or have a surefire shot on a slow moving target (Cannibals and Cerberus Gaurdians for example). Otherwise, more "spray and pray" or something very close to a one shot kill without having to stare down the sights constantly.
Plus the CSMG , despite being level 1, works better than the other SMGs I have, and I don't use SMGs on anything else.

Mine is similar, except I put 3 in Fitness and 5 in Homing Grenade. The BW with Phasics is incredible on him, especially with Invasive Scan on Recon Mine. If you can get the mine at a choke point, you can just methodically OSK any mooks coming through the scan radius. For Gold (or especially for Platinum) I don't think it would work well with a low level BW though. I'm pretty sure the cloaked Phasic damage of the BW crosses a lot of OSK thresholds as it advances from I-X.

The best way to play the drell assassin is to make full use of his speed and throw recon minds. If you try to stand still and shoot your gun you will get blown up because you only have 250 shields. To put that in purspective, even the minuscule volus has 500 shields.
1) You're going to want to maximise your recon mind for obv reasons.
2) You will want to keep your wait light so you can spam as much as possible.
3) You want an acolyte because the recon mind only does bonus damage to armor, so you need a gun that is strong vs shields.
4) Cryo rounds are good with an acolyte because the exploding bullet increases your freeze chance.
6) The speed boost gear is the best because it allows you to run away from enemy fire faster. Since your base shields are so low increasing them by a percent amount will not benefit you greatly. However, occasionally i get disoriented from running too fast and it makes me dizzy/gives me a headach, so sometimes I used the shield recharge delay thing or the power damage thing instead. NEVER use the cyclone thing though because that's a waist.
7) If you dont use grenades very much then swap out the 5th point of grenades for the 5th point of cloke so you can go invisable more often.
8) IMPORTANT: always fire your recon mind while you are cloked. This allows you to bypass the long af recharge time of the recon mind.
5) Armored compartments is best-in-slot gear for all characters. Always use armored compartments unless you're doing a non-missile challenge or whatever. The improved clear time means more credits/minute and more than offsets the initial investment in missiles. I don't feel like I need grenade capacity because I'm running so fast that I can just pick them up from boxes. Having increased grenade capacity doesnt make the boxes spawn them any faster, and that's your primary limitation.
*) This isn't a real requirement, but it helps if you make your drell a bright color (like orange or pink) so that your teammates can see where you are more easily if you die. Since you only have 250 shields you will probably die a lot unless you are very good (i'm not).

Something like that is probably optimal. Recon Mine can kill a lot of stuff just by being spammed. I'm kind of like boogie on this one, it is annoying as **** but you can't argue with the efficiency of it. Nades are kind of shortened in quantity with geth scanner BUT homing nades I generally only use on a big spawn of enemies because most small spawns you can kill quicker than the travel time of homing nades besides drell speed. Drill gives the Arc Pistol ability to go through walls and get multiple hits versus bosses, drell is one of the most powerful infiltrators already for raw weapon damage and with the wall hacking ability.
