We're almost at 6 months post-release and I'm still barely getting any parter banter. I'm 8 hours in on my newest playthrough and I've only gotten around 3 or 4 conversations. This is getting a little ridiculous at this point. Banter is a crucial component of the game. Without it, I'm essentially left with an unfinished product.

Bioware, I beg of you. Please go back to the old banter system in future games. Let us manually trigger banter by walking past specific landmarks. Atleast that way, I'll actually get some banter in my game...

I agree that manual triggers are needed. That's how I got all the banters in the previous games.

I recommend watching the banter on youtube as it's very good.

A small part of me still hopes that one day, they will finally fix this nonsense once and for all. That's why I haven't caved in and listened to the banter on youtube. As good as it might be, its far more enjoyable to actually hear it in-game.

Yeah, getting it in game is different. But it'd be a shame if you missed out on the banter entirely.

Sadly i was never hyped about any game like i was with DA:I and though i did enjoy it immensely, it was lacking in the camaraderie department, something bioware always excelled at

As soon as i finished my first playthrough and found out about the whole banter bug/thing i just can't play the game again until its fixed, i can't go through the game knowing what i'm missing

I even thought of buying another copy hoping it would rid me of the problem, and i'm financially capable but it doesn't feel right to reward this lack of competence with more money

I thank Bioware for the beautiful game they made, it was a good 70 hours i spent on my first playthrough, but i'm also disappointed, not just because this problem exists in the first place, but for it to continue being an issue even after 6 months of release

According to Bioware there is no banter bug and you're all a bunch of cry-babies.

What are you bitter about now? They only say they couldn't reproduce it

For some reason it triggers for me after combat ends sometimes now (after one of the patches)

So I think they might have added more triggers, but still banter is really rare

They just need to add more ingame triggers, I think

Maybe have one when you change areas in the map you're in (like walking from one titled area to another in the same map),

and another one could be after you fast travel,

and another when mounting/dismounting

Well, just an idea, anyway
