I am impressed at how well this site adapts to mobile devices, and how it works great on tablets and phones. I remember the days of the old turd that barely did phpbb.

 

Conversely, I am impressed with how poorly Origin adapts to PCs

White, cause the dark grey doesn't look good. I'd switch to a proper black theme though. All that white is exhausting my eyes... but it looks better at work.

Just switched to dark. I prefer it. Very easy on the eye.

I generally prefer dark scheme in all the text-based software I use because I spend 12+ hours a day behind a monitor, but I don't like the dark scheme on BSN at all. And the white one is surprisingly tolerable.

Some things are bad ideas.

 

Going swimming in the ocean at night is a bad idea.

 

Attempting to fly by jumping off a tall building is a bad idea.

 

Making racial jokes is also a bad idea.

 

Why are they bad ideas? There are obvious consequences (sharks, death, and hurt feelings, respectively). All you have to do to avoid the consequences is to not do these things.
