So, in the World of Thedas Vol 2 there are a number of recipe's in the book and I have decided to try to cook as many of them as I can! Tonight I made Dalish Deep Forest Comfort and started the Picked Eggs! Here's how it turned out:

As I said I eventually plan to cook them all! (Dragon Age Twitter Hired me as Head Chef for the Inquisition so challenge accepted:

Hmm, interesting. One of my favorite things is the goat cheese and beet salad from La Tour Cafe (usually have it once a week, but I'm currently determined to try all their flatbread pizzas before going back to my regular salad, hehe).

I love salads and eat a lot of them regularly but I could see picking pizza over salad.  :P

@robert: Hehe - as much as I love that salad, I do need a bit of variety (and if that variety comes in the form of delicious pizza on occasion...lol).

Appropriated Dalish recipes. They must taste like imperialism. Good job to everyone involved in this.

:D

Speaking of appropriation, I'm totally appropriating that phrase. Useful for a number of dishes.

Mmmmmm...this chicken tikka masala tastes like imperialism.

See you'd think that, but if you make a cup of English tea just right, in the Orwellian or prior fashion, one can sense just the hint of the power that was Canton and the First Opium War. Waft in that olfactory memory of great Chinese tea bought by English traders with silver gained by selling smuggled opium in China increasing the drugs presence fivefold.

I prefer sencha personally.

Also it's historical significance during the time of Imperial Japan is telling.

Drinking it harkens back to a era when you could pillage and rape your way across Indochina with nothing even vaguely being capable of stopping you.

Maybe that's why Solas really detests tea....

Keep an eye on your turnips, Head Chef of the Inquisition. They tend to end up in the fire, for some reason ...

Indeed. The Inquisitor told me it has something to do with a boy in a hat? I don't exactly remember...
