I know quite a few people including myself were hoping for a higher cap level on inventory with the new patch. Kinda bummed to hear that it wasn't really on the radar, and I hope to see something can be done later on.
That being said there were a couple of other things that I was wondering about that I felt would really help using the current inventory options.
Some time ago there was talk of possibly making it so that armor didn't take up inventory slots. Seeing as how they aren't currently salvageable (at least as far as I know), this would definitely help inventory space.
I would love if there some sort of favorite item lock you could implement as an additional safe guard against accidental salvaging. I don't know if I am alone in getting a considerable amount of lag when perusing my inventory, but it can make things a little hairy. Since I am so close to the cap (I can only purchase about 2-3 chests at a time before I have to cleanse the trash) I have the occasional close calls quite often. With the new in-store salvage ability I am even more worried about making an unfortunate error.
I would also really love an inventory counter so that way I instantly know how much space I have available.
That sort of brings me to my final issue. Since DAIMP sounds like it is going to be an ever evolving game, I've been holding on to nearly all of my purple items and some high level blues. Currently there really isn't any reason for me to hold on to most of these items. However, with possible new modes, adjustments, and perhaps even a revamp of how you purchased items, I am worried that by deleting these items I would potentially regret it later. With the new patch dropping, along with new items, I feel like having a larger inventory is pretty important.
Sorry for the laundry list, and length!
Still can't wait for Tues!!!
