Network timeout when trying to log in

I can't get into the in game network. It always says a time out and I have been trying for hours to get the friggin thing to work so I can redeem my network codes and promo items.

Nope, still isn't working over here either. You'd think they'd anticipate the load by at least how many preorders got shipped out, but why would EA do something intelligent like that?

Ea needs to stop these stupid dlc frustrations and just have dlc codes go through the marketplace redeem option like every other company, they always mess stuff up.

Same here. It's been unavailable for me since 9 p.m. EST and is still down as of 9 a.m. this morning.

Been having the same issue. Checked this morning and noticed an update. I thought, "Oh good, maybe they fixed it", but nope. Still had the same issue.

Still having the problem and its pretty much 24hrs after the fact. I also popped in DA:O and can no longer connect to its server on the 360. The PC version of DA:O I an connect with no problem.



Sadly I played ME on the 360 since it was released on that platform first so all my game completions are on the 360. Otherwise I would have purchased it on PC.



Any news or progress on this matter would be appreciated.

Was anyone able to connect today? Just wondering if this is just a few of us or everyone on a 360.



Really stinks because I just got the CE from Amazon today and can't play with any of the extras.

Its not everyone on 360. Its only impacting a portion of 360 users. But I have seen a new thread for this same issue pop up about every 3 hrs with a couple people posting in each.

Good news (for me at least), I just tried twice, didn't work the first, then I reset and it said there was an update, now it works! Hopefully problems will be solved for you guys as well =)

As I noted on another thread, I forgot to mention I reset the clock on my xbox, which some people say has helped them solve their issues. Worth a try if this doesn't fix itself as that might have been the magical step that I simply forgot to mention =P





* Press the Xbox Guide button on the controller to enter the Dashboard.



* Sign out of Xbox Live by pressing the X button.



* Select the System blade.



* Select Console Settings and press the A button.



* Select Clock and press the A button.



* Change the date to 11/15/2005 and press the A button to accept.

I was finally able to connect last night around 11pm. I just loaded the game and it connected. I was able to enter codes, dl everything...etc.
