Well, if it goes anywhere as well as trying to introduce reason and sense to people believing in some wild theories, then I see how this can get frustrating, FAST ;P
Back on topic, though! Sera, Elvhen God in hiding or not? Or does she just possess some strange elf sight? Was it the red box that made her bonkers?
Anyway, I've already made quite a long post about that (http://forum.bioware...old/?p=19091507) so I'm not sure what else to add...
Other than: every other hidden or hiding god has either had a stronger presence or clues leading us to conclusion that they're The Real Deal - one of the most prominent clues being their 'totem animal', so to speak. Flemeth can turn into a dragon and is all 'dragony'.
And DAI is peppered throughout with wolves or references to them - so much sometimes that it feels as if Bioware is throwing bricks at us with "THIS IS IMPORTANT! PAY ATTENTION" message written in red ink
Wolf statues, wolf quests, wolf packs, wolf pendants - all that jazz.
So you'd think that IF Sera had anything to do with Andruil, at one point or another she'd be seen surrounded by her symbols - mainly the hare (or the hawk). Yet it's simply not the case. There are not even generic hare statues anywhere (there's also no mention of anything from astrariums/constellations) - while at the same time we have ample statues of not just dragons and wolves, but also of owls (though there's a passing mention that Dalish think the owl carries message from Andruil, it is an animal generally associated with Falon'Din) and deers/halla (symbol of Ghilan'nain).
(and if you bring the bow... Sera is great with bow, but nobody ever makes any comment about her being the ultimate, unbeatable pro at it. The rogue Inquisitor wielding the bow seems to be at least as good, no matter of the race and Leliana seems not far behind. So, nothing is really made out of it, other than she has natural talent for it - which is also probably something many elves are good at, as it seems to be their traditional weapon of choice)
In fact, I'd pay attention more to those. I have a feeling that either Falon'Din or Ghilan'nain will be important, as they get comparatively the same or even more exposition (in terms of found codexes and aforementioned statues) than Andruil.
(side note: I always wondered why there were giant deer statues featured so prominently at the start of vallaslin scene. I have a feeling BW wanted to say something through it, but I have no idea what >.>')
