It's almost totally empty. Thrones gone, Decor is gone, some characters are gone that shouldn't be gone. Things seem really broken. Does this still happen for other people? Is this a known glitch or did Bioware really do this on purpose?

My Skyhold was perfectly fine after the ending. I'm pretty sure the throne was there, the curtains, (most of) my characters... hum. Who specifically is missing? O___o

In my case, Blackwall because I forgot to get him out of prison.

If they aren't indisposed they are there.

 

At least in my play throughs...even the evil one (you know we all like to do or at least think about it).

Bioware has finally come around, listened to EVERYONE's feedback and deleted all the characters that received some form of negative feedback All characters that have been removed permanently are:

Cassandra, because her short hair and her jawline makes her look like a boy.

Blackwall, because he's a liar and a traitor and people aren't allowed to redeem themselves here.

Iron Bull, because apparently romancing him is bestiality.... somehow. somewhere.

Vivienne, because she's too bitchy or bossy or something.

Solas, because he's just a big meanie and broke lots of poor gals' hearts. :c

Dorian, because gay people shouldn't be in the game or toggled off or something because SJW PANDERING! BOOO! Lesbians are OK though.

Sera, because just kidding lesbians are bad too. she has too much fun.

Cole, because .... he's weird.... or something.... I don't know, has anyone ever hated Cole?

Varric, because his chest hair still can't be romanced, the tease!

This happens every time I finish the game. The whole main hall is empty of furniture, all thats left is the nobles and Varric. Cullen suddenly disappeared as did Vivienne even though Leliana was chosen as Divine, and ironically shes still around. Blackwalls gone, but I sent him off to the Wardens, half the crafting tools and the storage chest in the undercroft are gone as well. This happens every time!

Everything else is still there. So if Skyhold is empty, I'm not sure what to say except... um... delete the autosave, subfolder all of your saves except the one you're trying to load, and try a reload?

It's a bug.If you reload your game it should be fine. Might as well rant while I'm here, I've beat the game twice and both times I've got this bug that doesn't allow me to speak with Varric after defeating Corypheus.

That happened to me when I finished the game. Then, whenever I returned to the game, it was intermittent: sometimes the furnishings were there; sometimes they weren't.

 

It seems to have settled down now and everything's where it should be. I've no idea whether one of the recent patches has fixed it, or whether it's just one of those glitches that eventually goes away of its own accord!

It's a bug I believe.

Quicksave/reload solves it for me.

Zoning might solve it aswell.
