Went to try and play a little today and the game wouldn't allow me to load my previous save. It told me I had to download the latest patch - and the game is already updated. After exiting the game, I noticed it disappeared from the "My Games" section of Origins. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Yeah. I did get the game to play by going into the game's folder on my pc. It seems to have been an issue related to mods. Had to update it to the latest game patch or something. Still not sure why it isn't appearing in Origins.

Have you modded the game? Modding the patch increases its version number, meaning that if you weren't careful and didn't manually write the correct version number on your modded patch file, your saves are compatible with a patch that has the highest version number you played it with. To fix, edit the package file with notepad and increase the version number shown there until it works.

I updated the package file. Game runs for me now, but the mods are no longer present. Any idea on how I can get them to work again?

I only know how to make them work with the previous patch, not the one that came out today. A workaround should come out soon enough. If you want to play with your mods you can roll back to your modded patch now if you had made a backup.

It's a server saturation issue on my end, just can't get EA Certification to complete.

 

As far as mods go, DLC mods are the best way to avoid problems.

I'm having this problem as well! i've removed all my mods but some of my saves still say i need to update? i used mods on pretty much all my characters so im confused as to why its only bugged one any help is much appreciated!
