Right now it's hard to even enter the server, and I don't have the option of the Ferelden Castle yet (though I have downloaded the DLC). Also, the game crashes every time I manage to enter a game. On PS4.
Make certain you have the DLC updates as well. I counted three updates when it updated on PC.

I'm not sure if this is necessarily related to this DLC, but it definitely started to become a nuisance since the DLC release. After finishing my games I regularly get the following message: 'There was an error retrieving required data from the Dragon Age server'. As a result I do not receive any xp. Can't confirm whether this also affects my gold earned, but definitely is the case for xp. This happens regardless of being host or off-host.
Would be great if this issue can be addressed as soon as possible.
And also: the new stuff is awesome!

Perilous dragons don't seem to drop any loot on the PS3. I've killed two and got nothing but a bit of gold.

You are guaranteed nothing. The dragon drops loot, its just not a certainty. The items are BiS...you will get them eventually! Enjoy the game, this DLC is amazing.

I had this same issue! Is it one of the phantom grip slots?

Welp, the FAQ tells a different story.
Q: Do dragons drop any loot?
A: Yes. Completing a dragon fight results in a loot a loot drop for the party.
Is there something I'm missing here? I'm not expecting the best gear right away but I thought that the dragons will always drop something.

The loot doesn't drop for everyone. It seems everyone in the party gets a random "roll"
I had games yesterday where no one got anything, then another where 3 out of 4 got a Dragon item.
I've had a dragon drop a Staff of the Dragon. The staff showed in the game summary at the end of the match (although the details pane on the left hand side was missing, so I couldn't see its stats). But then it didn't show up in my inventory.
I've had this happen to other loot as well, but they were mostly just Angled Blades and the like, so I didn't much care about them.

Turn on auto updating in Origin, it'll resolve it. You have a patch you did not download.
When host migration happened it selected me as host, so maybe it's a host problem? I was playing as Zither!, were you playing with a new character? I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about this. The only time I got loot was on routine, I had used a hammer and I wasn't hosting.
Nope, I was running one of the original 12. There was a Virtuoso in the party but he took his final dirt nap early in the fight... RIP (Rock In Peace) Zither. I do hope it's not a host problem. Fairly heavily disincentivizes choosing Ferelden for the only player in the party who would be choosing Ferelden.
I'm seeing other posts now suggesting it's functioning as intended, which I would take issue with in an otherwise amazing DLC. Even if items aren't always awarded, a hefty pot o' gold should be at the very least. Reward should be proportional to risk. Original bosses earn gold and don't eat 25 mats.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before on here or some other thread so I apologize in advance if this has already been brought up. It's not a bug so it may be a bit off-topic. About armors in the inventory, since all of them are class-specific, would it be possible show only armors that are useable for a specific character instead of displaying everything in the same category? For example, if my current selected character is Isabela, instead of having to scroll through all rogue armors, can you make it so I can see only Isabela's? Maybe in a future patch? It isn't a big deal, just for convenience really.
The upgrade "All Together Now" to "Sing-Along" does not appear to function. No allies in range are healed on kills, only heal on hit is applied.
I made a 're-spec for my lack 10 duelist, after which I got 9 points back, but still kept my abilities.
The issue in the OP about matches not ending after killing the faction commander isn't restricted to Fereldan Castle; it happened to me tonight on Elven Ruins (vs. Venatori). We kicked the host, and it completed successfully on try 2.
Also, I just had an issue with Fereldan Castle where I joined mid-game, but I think I got put at the entry point for an earlier wave than the other players were on. The doors were locked, and everyone else was miles above me.

sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but i've downloaded patch 7 and the dragonslayer dlc but every time i load up my game i get this message, even though i can play the ferelden castle map and the new characters. the problem i'm having is when i want to play with friends on origin i can't invite them and they can't invite me because it says i don't have the updated dlc that they do. i can play in public matches with no problems. does anyone know why this is happening/how i can fix it?
i've repaired my game twice and i've deleted the mp dlc files and reinstalled with no luck. i've just finished reinstalling patch 7 with no luck either. any help would be really appreciated

PS4 still experiencing intermittent issue of no medals being awarded.
Seeing more errors on the Fereldan map that cause crashes back to the main PS4 screen (dragon type hasn't mattered). I've had about 3 of them today.
