ok I'm Australian with zero interest in politics so honest question, people seem to be throwing the term around a lot lately and the only guess I came up with is it's something political. What does SJW stand for?

This game isn't as "hard" or as "gritty" as the previous two, I admit.
Still, SJWs are managing to find things to whinge about.

It means Social Justice Warriors, it has no meaning anymore because people just throw it out like an insult

No wonder.
Politics is a joke. Especially in our county.

I miss the days when BSN had good, honest, hardworking trolls with originality and forethought. Kids these days just seem to think it's all about pushing the right button. Where's the creative flair?
The trolls have gone corporate. They used to do it with passion and soul, now they just look at flowcharts and spreadsheets to see what riles people up the most.

Social Justice Warrior: a pejorative label applied to bloggers, activists and commentators who are prone to engage in lengthy and hostile debates against others on a range of issues concerning social injustice, identity politics and political correctness. In contrast to the social justice blogosphere at large, the stereotype of a social justice warrior is distinguished by the use of overzealous and self-righteous rhetorics, as well as appealing to emotions over logic.

Right. What I meant to ask was if it ever referred to anything real, or if it's one of those words like "unicorn."

Notice how older players, who have grown up with the first video games and have husband/wife and kids are not SJWs...

Yes cause back in those days, you could simply just enjoy a game without picking apart it's content and finding something to blog about so people give you attention and make you feel like you matter.

I can point you to some particularly bad SJW blogs if you want to see them in action.

The earliest known use of the term “social justice warrior” as a pejorative comes from the Blogspot blog Social Justice Warriors: Do Not Engage, launched on November 6th, 2009, which identifies SJWs as people who “rage, mob and dox in the belief that promoting identitarianism will make a better world.”
It is the replacement term for Keyboard Warrior, which is "an Internet user who expresses their anger by writing aggressive messages online."

That's very interesting, because while I never see posts from these SJWs that as you say are so attracted to the game, I see at least two topics about people complaining about it a day. Weird.
