I am actually not an expert on DA, but I've looked on many media and I never got answers of these questions:
1-Knight Commander Meredith was able to bring life to the statues that were on the Gallows just by using a red lyrium sword, then why the hell the red templars couldn't? not even Samson.
2-Duke Prosper was pretty fluent speaking Qunlat, how is that an Orlesian noble man learned to speak that tongue? or how did he tame Leopold? a Wyvern of that size cannot be used as mount by anyone.
Two questions whose answers I have not found.

Prosper is wealthy and can afford to be very well educated. There's probably enough people who understand Qunlat in the south that rich nobles or scholars could find ways to learn.

Why did Orsino become a giant Harvester monster at the end? Because the game fight had to be made more interesting and they decided to ignore the lore inconsistencies. I doubt Meredith would have been able to do that if she was written during a period where bioware wasn't rushing the game. Now of course we'd say that well, red lyrium has a lot of weird abilities, she was carrying it around for years, probably had it infecting her already thus giving her uncanny powers, and Kirkwall being on top of red lyrium and the thin veil influenced the statues coming to life. But, yep, it's silly. So I doubt what she did was even close to the norm.

1. He sword is made from the lyrium idol. it more the idol then the lyrium that's doing it
2. He git a talvasoth to teach him qunlat and he payed men to ethert catch and break him or he had it form it's birth.
