Was playing around roughly till they started repeating the weekly challenges. Like Late Feb or something.
How much has changed and is it worth getting back at DAMP?

I see 3 new characters being added, but I'm not sure if I should grind for them. :3

I meant hunting for their cloth, and etc. to get them unlocked. I remember having spent all my cloth etc. to unlock every outfit for all the initial characters.

You get one character for free.  Try and it see how it goes.

 

Real balance changes have begun to occur.  Katari has been buffed, Arcane Warrior has been nerfed, next in line is likely alchemist (for a buff).  

 

It was hinted that there are new items in the drop tables (which have received some enhancing, though not fully disclosed yet).

Havent gotten him yet, and now I'm curious as to what "BAD NOTE" means on that card.

You might want to hold off until some of the bugs are fixed, it sounds like this dlc might have introduced quite a few new bugs

Tried it now, well sh*t! I love how they created this one, extremely unique in every which way!

Best thing about this character is that you don't have to worry about the "ability slots", because you can practically use every ability that you unlock.

And those beats! Aaaaah!

Just checked the forums for bugs as ALTBOULI mentioned, looks like I'm getting XP for the new character, but couple of threads suggested that they weren't getting XP for the new ones. Odd.

I believe blair described it as "death metal".  From what I remember of the leak from quite some time ago it reminded me of darkspawn armor from DA2,

From 1 match of the Skywatcher, I can see his potential. Basically like an elemental Katari. Alot of his abilities are kind of modified versions of katari abilities. Like an Ice charge and a lightning Whirlwind.

 

I can't wait to try out the other two.

Yep, plays music! Fire-Cold-Electric notes that you can mix-&-match as per the abilities you unlocked and use those abilities, without any cooldown!

Also all abilities cost just 25 Mana, so essentially you can fire 4 in a row before depleting all your mana.

And using a "BAD NOTE" means basically you triggered an invalid beat-combo, that would do nothing BUT drain 25 mana.

So you gotta know all the combos, which are relatively easy, basic ones are Fire-x3, Cold-x3, Elec-x3 which gives, a fire bolt, 20% Barrier and 20% moving speed respectively. Rest beats you can unlock via higher abilities.

Pretty damn fun to play as! Totally worth getting back! xD

Yea, this guy is a blast. Isabela seems also quite interesting to play (and not just because of large chestpiece).

Played a few hours as the new characters, slayed a couple of dragons (on routine), so far lots of fun, so I say it's worth it.

Beware the netcode is still ****.

The new stuff is fun, but it's a bummer how hard it is to craft the new characters.  Why couldn't the new characters just have similar crafting requirements as the old characters?

I know.  I got the Avvar and it's fun but I'm never going to get the 47 of one cloth needed for the virtuoso.  I need to either find the other armors in a chest or suddenly hit a run of staffs in my chests, neither of which seems likely the way the chests work.

Yeah that sucks. 51 cloth is a bit too much honestly. Better off trying your luck with one of them Dragons!
