Care to elaborate?
I got skywatcher from the free chest, and isabella from a drop from the dragon, but yet to get Zither.
Very interested to hear about him. Not much of a fan of the original 4 mages, and hoping Zither suits me more.

I completely agree!
Zither was my freebie and he's been fantastic so far. I haven't got his xp system figured out yet, though...unless they did away with support xp and I missed it?
But his dialogue is hilarious and the combat has been quite enjoyable. My only major critique thus far is mostly aesthetic because I was hoping that--even if a staff would be required instead of a new weapon class--you wouldn't actually see it anywhere since he is holding his musical instrument. (Yes, I was hoping he could shoot bolts of magic using his lute-thing)
Quick explanation of Zither (I'm sure you'll get a better one tomorrow from someone and please note numbers may not be accurate):
Nerf Zither!

I don´t know about others, but I am pretty pissed some people can already play new content, while I am stuck at work. Can´t you people at least have a decency to claim that new characters suck and servers are down or something?

You need to craft special Dragon call item and then use it on stage 3 of Ferelden Castle map(allegedly there is some gong where you do that).

I played all 3 new characters for a bit this morning, they are all pretty cool!
Skywatcher feels like a beefed up Katari, very nice mechanics on the elements too, Craft his other armours to get them massive horns, looks really cool!
Isabela moves very much like an assassin but with added extra of that little crossbow, again, crafting the other armours will give you that captains hat..
Zither...lol, his banter is so cool, the songs are pretty useful too..
Ferelden Castle, very nice location and finally a use for the resistance tonics!
We did kill 2 dragons on Routine, gave me a Dragon Long Sword, blue weapon..
Looking forward to get home and go at it some more!

That sounds overpoweredBasically, Zither casts barrier like an Arcane Warrior. On the entire group. And keeps it up. And up.
He has a barrier b%ner, and he should see a doctor about how long he's been keeping it up.

Also, if I understand correctly, the actual dragon should appear on stage 5 instead of boss.
But I should warn you, I am just gathering all info from here as I didn´t have a chance to play yet, so I can´t be 100% sure.

That sounds overpowered
20% barrier at a time, and it consumes 25 mana. Seems like a real hassle to try and get barriers all the way filled.

Sky watcher is kind of the dragon age d3 barbarian.
nearly finished work, cant wait to play!

My thumbs hurt from playing zither, it is awesome! Once you get the hang of memorizing the chords, I pretty much run in circles keeping heal on hit and heal on kill, strum, change chords and hit attack speed buff, change chords and hit armor buff, repeat until reds are gone, dump my speed buff on and sprint to the next encounter. Zither is like using mortal kombat combo attacks.
Yeah my hands are really tired after playing Zither for a few hours but I don't mind because I love him. As the night wore on though I found myself missing my keys more and more often, and of course everyone can hear that awful sound when you try to strum with the wrong notes ![]()

It was nice double-Zithering with you in a few games tonight while I figured him out
I, too, hoped for a flamethrower lute. Coolest idea ever!

For a coordinated team he could be a little bit too powerful. With a keeper to give a full barrier inbetween you could focus on keeping up the 5 support buffs.

He can health regen? holy hell.
I was under the impression that general health healing in DA;I was banned from a design perspective.
