What have Dragon kills given (or not given) you so far?

Also please share if youve come across any dragon items in chests.

Peps trolling these forums whilst @work wish to know...

Perilous dragon kill
Staff of dragon
80 fire damage
41% attack
7% crit chance
8% healing on kill

I've have every staff in game and this new one pretty much makes fury, pyre and mindchill "low damage" ones.

So Perilous is really the only worthwhile place for loot..pity no schematics for crafting weapons ..perhaps next DLC?..

Hopefully weekend challenges.

Sounds possible... have noticed improvement with frequency of decent gear, only made 5K gold last night but managed to pick up "March of the everlasting" on a medium chest.. We managed 5 Perilous runs of Fereldan , was lucky enough to pick up the unique Dragon staff!! and Dragon bow!! and the new warrior character amour . . very fun evening and keen to do it again tonight!

So far today I have killed 4 Dragons on Perilous, 2 on Threatening, and 3 on Routine. For all those kills I have yet to see any loot from any of the Dragons. Anyone else having this problem?

On my first perilous dragon run, I got nothing, as I didn't even get to finish it (got booted by the Dragon Age server). On my second, I got a salvage fodder and Isabela's armor (good, but still disappointing). On my third run earlier tonight, I got this staff (Staff of the Dragon), only it has the high damage roll (81 fire damage instead of 80). As someone who plays the AW almost exclusively...I just about danced a jig.

Have been using that staff all day and it definitely deals noticeably more dps that fury of veil which I upgraded from. Must have been super lucky last night getting both unique dragon bow and staff as I've been playing most of today and got nothing of note except the virtuoso unlock..still plenty of fun n not fussed ..

Easiest perilous dragon to take down seems to be Frost then Fire. ..weve had a few wipes on Storm dragon however. Starting to wonder if drops are different depending on the Dragon?. .

Around 15 perilous runs with dead dragon and 3 items (purple overall)
Staff
1h sword
2h sword.
I'm really happy because of the 2h sword. I don't have sulevin, my best 2h weapon was starfang and I really wanted better 2h weapon.
Best part in those items are heal on kill. I can now use different rings.

As for the Staff of dragon is funny for me. I have all other staffs in game (fury, mindchill, pyre and even those lower tier). Because fury of the veil, mindchill and pyre of the forgotten deals quite similar damage (difference is quite low around 3% depends on upgrade) I used all of them (AW was using mindchill, pyre for keeper etc). Now it's this staff. 20% higher damage just like that. With critchance bonus. With heal on kill. Old gear just can't be salvaged.

I would say storm is the easiest (well, have yet to fight fire) since its special ability is negated simply by you and your teammates sticking close enough together (not that difficult, but if you don't know how it works...that's a wipe, lol).

Sticking close together is what works with frost as well.. fire is similar as long as players move out of the rings before fire spawns.. The storm dragon aoe disrupts casting which has caused us a few wipes when trying to put up a critical barrier. . We use elect resistance pots ofcourse , Any tips on how best take down storm dragon would be most welcome!

I never noticed unusual spell casting interruptions when going against the storm dragon, though as an Arcane Warrior I believe I'm less susceptible to interruption due to the Mind Over Matter passive, so I can't give tips from a more traditional mage perspective unfortunately. As a melee, I can tell you straight up, don't let the dragon push you to the front of him. Stay on his side or rear. If you are directly in front of him, he can quickly smash you with two or three hits.
