Ah, yes, so call of duty logic is rampant here as well? Shame.
This has nothing to do with Call of Duty, especially since I never played it.
Camping isn't bad, but limiting your operational area to a closet at the end of a map is inefficient. How long do you plan to wait for an Atlas to walk all over Rio until you can fight it?
Where's the fun if you disregard almost everything available to you and instead spend 40+ minutes holding down one button? Are you even seeing what's happening or is your screen filled with walls, a Hex Shield and a flamer?
Doing the box of shame means you are unable or unwilling to play the game as it was meant to be played... and instead of finding a clever shortcut, you make it last way longer than necessary. It means you are not ready to play Platinum, it means you lack the necessary skill and should go back to Gold or better, Silver.
I've played games for 20 years now, a lot of them online. Multiplayer, MMOs etc. Shooters, RPGs, PvE, PvP... everything. Nowhere would such a tactic garner approval because it is seriously flawed and most of all, exceedingly boring. It doesn't even make sense. You could play two gold matches in the same time, earn more credits, complete more challenges, get more exp and actually have fun doing so.
Looking down at experienced players for not agreeing to your own, personal playstyle is silly already. When your playstyle is the box of shame, then you shouldn't promote it or try to convince anyone that it is better. It makes you look like someone holding up a neon sign saying, "I'm a clueless idiot, please laugh at me!".
