Pairing Routine, or if you're good enough at planning enemy movements ahead of time you can do threatening, with a level 10 Bard makes earning elemental challenges easier than ever! Zither has the fastest, most spamming ability (even more than an elementalist with 60% crit chance), and most damage versatility than any other class before it. Aside from spirit damage or poison damage, which you AWs (sob prior patch) or elementalist (cheaters) should already have done, you can get the easiest kills without even minor cool downs making bards hands down the best for these challenges, sorry people who earned it prior for Electric/Fire/Cold.

For those who haven't noticed it yet, you're welcome, for those who have already farmed it, I'm sorry, and for those wondering why I'm spewing the new common sense, well why not ;).

If you're wanting this portraits, banners, and titles then become an offensive bard today! (guide for offensive/support bard)

Is he better than the necromancer for farming Cold kills on Routine? Because she is insanely easy to do it with, but the process is a bit tedious.

Yes

Yes. 100%
With Bard you can insta cast a cold spell that does AoE multiple times in a row easily killing multiple enemies non stop. No cool down, mana generates so fast you'll never notice it being gone.

Same for electric, fire is awesome but not like elec and cold ease.

I was hoping that one of the three would be better for poison farming. But meh i guess ill just stick to alchemist (Excited to see what buffs she may have in store).

Your offensive build is lacking for a dedicated perilous run. It's great if you have more than one virtuoso in the group, but people shouldn't try this if they're the only virtuoso's on the team. I prefer a hybrid mix of offensive and defensive actives and passives, allowing for more flexibility. For example, I recommend keeping power chord and getting rid of cool beats and mark of the riff, as the points sunk into these latter two would be more worthwile pouring into other abilities like barrier and mana regen passives and sing along. Additionally, upgraded power chord has a dispel effect that works on barriers and venatori spellbinder mines.

take a look at my guide for a more balanced build if you're the only virtuoso on the team: http://forum.bioware...tutorial-guide/

There is going to be a bit of a learning curve for this dude, at noon i tried ne quick game and was just firing off abilities left right and center with only a foggy idea of what they actually do.
