X1, peri match, 1 Zither, took approx 30 min, it was like the matrix, everything easy to dodge, could show my son exactly how to use fade cloak to blow people up.. At least got purple dragon shield out of it..

I hope this is fixable without taking away or toning down any particle effects from the Zither. I like how everything looks when he casts spells, just not how the frame rate moves like a 1920s nickelodeon movie!

I've experienced it once in the new map. It was after taking more than 5 landings to kill the Dragon. The framerate noticeably dropped after the dragonlings spawned for the 6th time. I'd look for memory leaks on ZITHER! abilities while affecting dragonlings.

It does not seem to be limited to dragonlings.

You notice it stops instantly as the last enemies dies.

It's definitely something to do with the battle log, eventually the frame rate goes semi normal and about 5 minutes later you get a message saying "defeat all ememies to recover the key" from the previous zone.

I've seen massive framerate drops with no dragonlings present, so that can't be the entirety of the problem. A friend of mine did throw out the idea of nixing the dynamic lighting from song usage. No idea if that would eliminate or reduce the problem enough, but it's a thought.

Honestly, I think it's a mix of just having a lot of enemies in general clustered together plus two ZITHER!s ZITHER!ing around.

I just had serious framerate drop last night on Perilous, Zone 5, Orlesian Chateau, Demons. The four of us were all clustered together for group hugs from the two ZITHER!s, and the concentration of enemies swarming us and the two bards buffing us non-stop made the framerates very, very cranky. Everything was fine in the zones prior to this.

My group was thinking it's the FC weather effects for frost as it seems a lot worse on FC stage 4 (or maybe because it's so open but that wouldn't explain why stage 5 is fine) unless it's the amount of enemies

Could there be an option to toggle on/off 'weather effects' / 'other player effects' / 'own effects' implemented?  I think this would work wonders for gameplay and most people would get behind it.

EDIT: PLAYSTATION 4

It's fairly rare for me (PC) and I'm not even sure it is specific to virtuoso but I do occasionally get a hiccup in frame rates from wave 3 on FC that gets worse and worse until I have to hard quit the game.

Feels like a memory leak either to do with the map or with virtuoso.
