I hope the dragon loot type is not related to the character you are playing. I have been doing perilous dragon runs with mages and have been getting nothing but staff of the dragon (5th one today), no sign of rogue dragon weapons.

 

I got everything with AW and Virtuoso, excepting the staff... This one with Duelist... So keep trying. Don't give up.

Awesome guide.  I used the turn the crank 7 times trick and it worked to perfection.  Got my first dragon kill last night (on Threatening though).
