there is one word describing black emporium and that is: unnecesary.

Probably true,

however, a new haircut and a little make-up for the Halamshiral ball?

well worth the effort  :)

It's all level based or quest based?
so in theory I can do side missions to get more mats in the store?

I think it has to be quest based. At level 19 or 20 (but before doing any MQ) I only have tier 3 mats.

I wish there were crafting stations in the Emporium. That way I wouldn't have to go back and forth between there and Skyhold, or Haven, to make things.

dat's DA2? right?

at any rate just took a tour of BE DLC and it is AWESOME place.

1. I can fix my face.

2. UNLIMITED CRAFTING MATS.

3. T3 weapons.

4. awesome stuff to spend on.

5. midget polar bear.

Exactly. What's *not* to love?

wow.

methinks it's not only gamers that may have gotten spoiled...

That said, I'm fine with BE. I like the lil polar bear. I wish I could interact with it. I can't, right? i really wish i could take it back to skyhold with me.

Xenon has some great lines, though he doesn't sound like Xenon...it's still a good voice. The actor did a good job. It just doesn't sound like Xenon.

The rest of the game has so much lore, I guess they didn't think this needed anymore. It's a shop. Nothing more. It's got some good stuff and a mirror I can tweak things with, and some fun lines from this Not!Xenon...j/k...

I think it tricky. I mean it's the same guy voicing Xenon. But it has been a good few years since he originally voiced him. In DA2 Xenon sounded more wisened and laboured in his speech, it's true. But you're never going to get it exactly the same.

I was disappointed that the staff that you make doesn't even have slots and yeah it is also too expensive.

Heh, would've been a decent opportunity for a wierd smith character in the emporium itself, or perhaps urchin's moved up in the world and made himself useful.

Xenon: Urrrchin can craffff-t - whatever you desire. But beware; he does not speak. Poor lad lost his tongue in an unfortunate...smmmelting acciden-t.

Don't know what to think, there must be something wrong with the mirror, maybe someone could help me out... ? When I went to the emporium to try some modest changes with the look, the game doesn't remember the look of my character. The "current face", as shown in the mirror, is a bold albino with no eye-brows... and I'm pretty sure I never played as that. All the sliders are either set to zero or centered. It's completely useless. Very disappointing.

EDIT: Think it might be some hair mods I have installed, messing it up. EA seriously have a twitch in the sack when it comes to facilitating for mods :/
