I just spent 150k.

 

Got about 50 uniques or so, only notable items was a second Blade of Red Birth. Still don't even have a staff better than Sorcerers Staff.

I had about 20k saved up (which is not a lot ofc) but was enough for around 17 chests. I didn't get anything from it, it was so bad that I didn't even get at least a superb rune or a low-level unique as a consolation "prize".

 

But then again... when I was playing ME3 MP as far as I recall, when there were some topics with calculations about gold spent/time played/weapons, I was literally one of the unluckiest people out there, at the bottom of the curve. Must have angered some witch in a previous life who cursed me with an eternity of bad luck.

I actually disagree. I find I can play the game for much longer without quitting in disgust if I don't buy chests.

 

On topic: DLC isn't out yet for PS4, so still saving. 80k and counting

Saved ~30k for today. Only got one unique (superb amulet of consti). But I'm generally not lucky with the drops. Have bought 100 big chests in total (relatively new to MP) and just got 3 uniques. Hope it gets better when my equip level rises.

I have 220k saved up.  But I will not spend it until more is done to the rng system.

 

Luke has said that they are still working on it (and will make more tweaks in the future)... so why spend the money now.

I had about 12,000 saved up, spent half of it on Sunday because I figured 5 chests wouldn't be too bad.

 

Then I spent the remaining half on Monday because I unlocked Zither via the dragon chest and thought that the DLC was live early  .

I had 28K saved up.

 

I didn't get anything that was better than I had, but the bump in loot level was noticable, with many more 12+ items (even got some uniques), so that part is nice.

 

Now to grind MOAR! BadgerladDK was a bastard and got Caliban AND blue cooldown necklace in a single chest.

I eventually managed to save up to 24K, open 20 chests and got a couple of low level purples which i turned in to recources(need to cloth) and a couple of new pieces of armour for pre-dlc characters.

 

Having opened 30 boxes in total, from friday till today, i do think my drops have increased a little bit. I only got a hand full of level 1 stuff where before i got a couple on each new chest.

I spent ~30k today and got 13 purple items, some were pretty good but I 'unfortunately' already had BiS so no major upgrades for me.  Seeing so many pretty purple cards might make the wait for my purple HoK/CD amulet or any crit chance ring a little more bearable (or it'll just feel like a major tease every time I open a chest and I'll lose my mind)

Saved up 42k for this day. Didn't get anything useful, nor did I get enough cloth to unlock the Virtuoso or get him as a card. Sad day all around.

Spend it as I get it. Picked up a wicked grace early this morning and enough salvage to bring me into the 20s on 3 separate cloths. Unlocking new characters today or tomorrow if RNGesus keeps showering me with his bowls full of rabbit's feet and lucky charms.

I have about 640k (iirc) saved up, not because I intended to save but because buying chests is just too boring. I Would give all my gold for a 200hp belt or a Pyre of the Forgotten.

Spent my 80k... only things I got of any value were Longshot ring and Sundering. I died a little inside every time I got a superb rune. I swear at least 50% of my purples were bloody runes.

Spent all of my 50k. Got 2 HoK rings. Already had two. D'oh.

Saved over 260k; just spent 60k and got nothing but some Superb runes and a unique mace I hadn't seen before. Not seeing any difference. Deleted game data and all dlc/patches, currently reinstalling.

 

Side note, has anyone actually gotten Imp. vestment cotton lately?

 

Side note 2, are we going to see new challenges at some point?

Spent 24,000 of my gold because I did not have time for more in the short amount of time I had (could not even play a match).

 

I ended up getting the following things of note:

 

 

• Blade of Red Birth
• Song of the Marshes
• Quite a bit of Superb Runes
• Superior Ring of Attack (10% Attack)
• Ability rings, including a few that has eluded me, such as Enhanced Barrier Ring and Enhanced Long Shot Ring.
• Loot being generally far superior to what I am used to in terms of rarity and item level.

Spent 20k - got back a Jocasta Revenge I salvaged back then. And a second one for more healz (I guess?). Lots of armour unlocks and decent purple drop rates.

I still got 100k, though - any bets how long it'd take to spend it?

Saved about 40k, got a bunch of stuff I already had, staffs were particularly plentiful. But nothing that I had any use for, other than to craft the new characters.

 

Then I played with my shiny new Isabela for a bit, got enough for two chests and in the second one I got Caliban and a blue cooldown amulet. Salvaged the amulet, already have the purple. But dat Caliban, though... Didn't get any more Isabela action in, it was off to sword and board land for me.
