Is it just me or does SLI feel slightly smoother?

Not sure what Bioware are doing but keep it up. Still getting hiccups but they are less noticeable in some areas now. Redcliffe still lags though.

The patch notes did mention improvements for SLI.

I'm running an SLI setup and if it was smoother, it wasn't significantly so for me. Still notice some slight grass shimmer, though that may be due to having tessellation off.

However - they finally fixed the SLI FOG! :)

I haven't tried it since the patch (very excited about the fog fix), but I had been having tons of texture flicker. The patch that supposedly addressed it before made no difference.

I've heard that if you turn turn tessellation on (to any degree, even minimal) it can (though I haven't tried yet) fix the texture flicker problem.

I have it maxed. I have almost everything maxed.

Yeah, I finally had a chance to try it myself and tessellation settings do nothing for my (admittedly minor) texture flickering either.

Why don't you max everything with SLI on? I do and the game is near perfect, I still get a few hiccups when moving the camera around but even with MSAA off it still happens so It can't be that so I leave it on 4xMSAA. :)

I don't max the features I dislike. I turn those down (I'd turn them off, if I could).

SLI? I assume this is a PC only thing?

Yeah, SLI is essentially a PC box with 2 or more graphics cards working together.

Yeah! They've fixed the White Fog! No more Silent Hill in the Mythal Temple for the SLI users!

They've also mentioned flickering fix, but I don't have a proper save to test that. The overall performance remained same, though.

Also, it took them ~6 months to make it. 8-\

I'm also still getting the flickering, but only in certain places. Eg. I get flickering with certain foliage in Ferelden Basin, but none in the Emerald Graves...

I haven't noticed the flickering yet.
