Just curious if there are a good number of people who would buy the trilogy if they do release it for next gen
I probably will as I no longer have my PS3 and I really miss ME3 MP

I bought the Trilogy for both 360 and PS3, plus other individual copies/LEs. And yeah, I still wouldn't have a problem with buying a release of this Trilogy for both X-Bone and PS4. Because when I like something, I really like it and want them all.
But for those that aren't like me, stick with the 360 Trilogy and with the PS3 version of ME2 being the only extra copy being worth enough, as some of the lighting changes in that port make it unique enough.
Just between me and you, I'd ****** buy that ****.
ps: I'm only getting a next-gen console, because of the next Mass Erection. Haven't decided yet if I like the PS4 or the X1 better.
If they wanted to go the route of next-gen remastering they should have saved the trilogy pack for that (along with the DLC for at least ME2).
Hell yes I would buy it as is. If they add on some stuff then others would buy it as well.
My 360 is damn near melting down already, it would be a lot easier to drop 60 bucks on another game than to buy another "new" 360.
I bought the game not once, but three times. I also received two copies as gifts after smashing the originals I had because I didn't want to play any more.
No. I wouldn't pay for a next gen port. And I probably wouldn't play it. It'd take a select few people to get me back into this crap.
I loved ME3. Don't take that away from me, dammit.

I suppose
Though if they did wait on the trilogy till a next gen port was ready at some point in the future
they most likely would release an "old" gen trilogy too
My guess is they weren't really considering it and then someone at EA or BioWare saw how well old gen ports are doing on next gens and they decided to get some too
as opposed to deliberately holding off to double up some consumers, which would be kinda slimy

how would a next gen port take anything away from you?
Or am i misunderstanding your comment?
You're misunderstanding my comment.
But it's ok, I'm used to that.
I wouldn't buy a next gen port.
Depends on 3 things:
1) How big would be the interval between the release of said trilogy and Mass Effect: Next. I played the first 3 games a bunch of times already, so if they''re too close together, no deal; once the next one is released, I'm diving into it, nothing else.
2) The presence of Multiplayer, and my manifest carrying over. If there'ss no mp, or if I have to start from scratch, no deal.
3) All of the DLC included.

I agree enough with remakes I would rather they just make new games instead of trying to sell me all my current games again. Of course being on PC makes the "next-gen" remasters even more meaningless.
As I am currently replaying ME1 and suffering through the awkward combat there I wouldn't mind a remastered trilogy. If BioWare wouldn't **** it up and if they gave me a discount because I already paid for the games once.
Eh. If it was a trilogy set, or like the Dark Souls II remaster that came out (60fps on console, different enemy spawns and item locations) I might, but I have a lot of games to play that are better.
Don't even get me started on damn SOTFS I bought DS2 and all the DLC just to be asked to fork over 20$ for "graphical improvements" which aren't even as good as the original game modded because they decided to divide the community between the old and new version. You still can't even run custom textures in the SOTFS because they softban for something as simple as DSfix...

You seem a little upset man. Why would you buy a rerelease of a game you already own and have modded to your preferences? For the DX11 support?
Because they were splitting up the community so to continue to play with my friends and the community I needed to upgrade. It was good value for people who either didn't buy the game originally or didn't buy the DLC. Only people who bought everything beforehand were screwed over.
Then, again, why upgrade? Let them divide the community. Your friends are punks anyway.
buying content you didn't need and bitching about it anyway is counter intuitive.
I can oppose business practices, but I wasn't going to let 20$ stop me from being able to play with my friends and continue to keep up with the community.
However, I see your point so enough bitching from me.
