Ok, again, freezes against Collectors happened because of a hardware issue. There is literally nothing BioWare could have done about it.

I'm pretty sure you know I like your sense of humour, but this one has just gone whoooooosh over my head.  This is a joke, right? I'm pinning my hopes on the 'literally' being the clue.

 

If half a gig of RAM is enough to run TLOU perfectly, it would seem more of a coding/software issue to me.  But my apologies if I've just experienced a sense of humour bypass - feckin Collectors killed my first PS3, so I might just be touchy about a company which claimed they couldn't replicate the problem in testing.  Balls.  They were just worried people like me might try to get compensation off them if they ever admitted their mistakes.

 

If I could play ME3 MP on a PS4, without freezes against Collectors, I'd buy one tomorrow. The only proviso to that would be that if manifests can't be imported, I wouldn't start again with an identical RNG store.  Not ever.

I bought the game not once, but three times. I also received two copies as gifts after smashing the originals I had because I didn't want to play any more.

 

No. I wouldn't pay for a next gen port. And I probably wouldn't play it. It'd take a select few people to get me back into this crap.

EA released their financial forecast for the next financial year (ending at the end of March 2016) and there isn't any mention of a BioWare game, so to me unless the release of the next Mass Effect game is Christmas 2017 I think it would be too close together for me to have any interest in it.

I can run Skyrim with 2k textures, Flora Overhaul, ETAC, ENB, and all the other bells and whistles any I never have any problems except for the very occasional memory crash.

 

If I run ME3MP, my drivers get an error-related crash pretty much every single session.

Not surprising. The game has trouble handling a few extra possessed enemies at any given time. Resource-wise it's just so very, very inefficient.

It's not the hardware, though. The netcode for example is terrible on every platform. The matchmaking is terrible. All platforms have graphical problems. You can't blame that on hardware.
