Yeah I got lotsa stoopid questions....  Here is my latest.

Yesterday I have to download an update for DAMP.  I do so and thus have access to the new characters.

 

Now today the opening menu trumpets the Dragonslayer DLC download now!  So I figure, well I have to find this download and download it to get the new map and ability to battle dragons.  On the XBOXone desktop it shows the new dragon age dlc!  So I click on it and it promptely does not take me to any kind of download page but to the destruction download which is alraedy installed.

 

So I say to myself "Self, perhaps that patch/download yesterday included the new dlc because after all I can use all of the new characters."  Of course I go to look at the available maps and there is no Fereldan Castle map available to me.  So I say to myself "Self, perhaps you have to craft a dragon call 1st?  Or perhaps there really is something else I have to download which as has been the habit of these things lately is cleverly hidden away at some massively inconvenient place to locate via my xbox."

 

So my 'self' needs to know, do I need to download a dragonslayer dlc today after downloading the update/patch yesterday?  If so EXACTLY where do I go to find it.  Please state instructions as if you were telling a 3 year old chimp.

i like the running commentary here. yes today's download contains the new map. you can't play the new map without the new download.

 

 

also the new dragon items are probably in this DLC, as well.

Its easiest to go to the store, use the search feature, and type in dragon age.  Scroll right until you see dragonslayer.

Seems that is what I had to do last time, why in the name of the Red Trampler commander do they have a BIG FAT menu item on the XBox one dash board that says 'DRAGONSLAYER DLC FOR FREE!' and then when you click on it it simply takes you to the destruction download which is already installed.

 

#1 in BioWares FAQ should be  "Where the hell do I find this thing for each system???" and then an easy to follow set of instructions to follow.

 

When I get home I will go to 'store'....search store....misstype dragon age a few times then find about 10 possible dragon age things to download before finding the dlc.

I'm on X1 too and didn't have to download anything beyond the patch.

And you have access to the new castle map?  Have you fought a dragon yet?

Can the X1 remote download?  I'm on PS4, but at work I went to the Sony store, "purchased" the download and then had it load onto my system.  Now it's already installed for when I get home.
