I'm seeing a lot of them right now, thinking they can take it easy and reap the XP in the end.

 

Once in a while I'll see a Level 4-6 Necromancer, but I can tell they really are good and experienced, and are trying to help the team (no need to literally wait until Level 8 just to join Threatening every time).

 

But these Level 1 Virtuosos and Avvars keep going down and needing revives. One Virtuoso didn't even bother putting up barrier after a while, and I caught him hanging in the back doing practically nothing.

 

What do we do with fake Inquisition agents like these?

Don't hate on the level 1s in threatening. Some of us don't play routine any more

I did the same and didn't read what the skills do but managed to get my immortal medal at the end.

lvl 1 avaar in threatening is questionable unless u have barrier or are really skilled.

 

lvl 1 virtuoso is nothing to scoff at. it doesn't even take skill just spam barrier and get out of the way. still, new kits and new players on them ...

Although those 3 characters are new, with enough skill points (promotions) a level 1 can do well in a threatening match.

While I agree with that, many just are there for the XP ride.

True, but you'll find out after a couple waves if they can handle it or are trying to leech. I have yet to be kicked from a threatening game as a level 1, so I try to extend the courtesy to others. Though if you're in the fade after the first wave or 2 you may need to go. Unless I am using a class that can carry, in which case all is well; never hurts to assist the less geared.

I played a level 1 Virtuoso on Threatening with gimped stats (Bioware pls) last night and it wasnt challenging at all. I will probably run Level 1 Virtuoso on Perilous once Bioware gives my stats back, if they haven't done it already.
The Avvar at Level 1 on Threatening was a bit harder, but still, once I have my crutch stats it should be much easier. Not sure if I will play Peris with a Level 1 Avvar, but threats I surely will.

I played threatening with a lvl 1 avvar and realized it was a big mistake. I wasn't there to leech tho. I just figured that it would be like hopping strait into threatening with any other class (like I'm oft to do).

I were just in a perilous pug when the leader swapped to a level 1 Virtuoso, and we managed to extract without any particular trouble. He kept a barrier up most of the time, I only went down once (was a level 15 legionnaire though )

I did start the Isabella and Zither on Routine first mostly due not having played the castle before.

 

Tried out Lvl 1 Avvar on Threatening and I wouldn't say it was any worse than Katari but that may have been down to Sulevan.

Piles of dead ZITHER! everywhere.  Stacked like cord wood.  Went down trying to pick one up.  Watched the last fellow fall strumming bravely away until the end.  Horrible and funny all at the same time.
