So... what's the point of putting transition screens where you are joining a game and you gotta wait dozen of minutes before you realized that you are stuck on that screen and can't go back? Even though there's a button saying: "Go Back" or Cancel, you click on it and it does nothing. I'm always forced to shut down my application on PS4 and reboot the game until I get to join a lobby or a match that actually doesn't freeze on me. Good grief...

I hear ya Teddie, even if it is just emotional support.  Still working on a clean install, 50% now and very slow their servers must be saturated and that could explain your issues.

¬_¬ I hope that one day, the "Go Back" and "Cancel" options will actually work because this is getting ridiculous.

ESO has a similar issue when a zone is saturated it can take an incredible amount of time to teleport or go through boundary doors instead of more typical 1 to 3 seconds.  Went back on ESO for the beta tester free lunch and it's pretty much same ole same ole with a lot more focus on selling junk - all the stuff unrelated to game play.  It still lacks a companion to aid in your journey, pity!
