duelist is much better than any rogue has great damage and survival, and virtuous is all in one, avvar is powerful and very fast to kill groups of enemies is weak but with great damage . sorry for my english

Nah, those characters take skill to play well...
There is still a huge majority that prefer the hack and slash of the earlier characters.

Zither!
But honestly, I think with all the options, the fun will only increase after most people go back to their 'regular' classes and things settle back down--which I assume will happen within the next week or two as the 'Ooh Shiny!' effect wears off.

"For. . .the legion. . ."
As great as Zither! is (and now my new favorite mage because it's just fun to spam 1-2-3-2-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-3--etc), the other classes are still viable and not yet subject to any sort of power creep.

Legionnaire and Keeper are still strong and highly beneficial members for any party composition.
Yesterday me as a Keeper, two Duelists and a Katari obliterated the Venatori. Basically we were bunched together like a small group of ducklings, it worked really well since both Katari and Isabelas work best on small groups and I was happy to oblige by Lightning Caging all the mooks on top of them. Since we were standing so close I could keep us all barriered at the same time, the Isabelas Keelhaul stopped the Venatori Commander from zapping away and all in all it was one of the smoothest, speediest victories I've been a part of.

Perfect example of why at least some of the old classes still remain viable

and they don't have a challenge progress to work towards yet ![]()
I still want to get 250 on the older characters. 3 down, 9 to go....even if they are over 100 it's going to take a while

Well, for me I've always wanted a female ranged archer class in the multi since forever, and so even though it's hybrid I love it,
so I might be playing it a while
But, yeah, when the newness wears off, you'll see more of the original characters again, I'll guarantee it
(now we just need a male dw dagger rogue to balance out the genders/classes)

Nah. Duelist is super fun, and something tells me there's a lot of cunning in my future, but the rest of the classes still have their strong points. Assassin is still the highest single target DPS, swashbuckle or not.

Funny but that is the exact reason why I haven't goofed off with the new characters yet. I didnt see any updated agent challenges and I am still working on 250 completions on the original classes. My assassin and Katari are at about 24 games or so from completion and my keeper is 35 games away from banner. Hopefully by that time they will have agent challenges for the new characters.

They said in the Twitch stream yesterday that they would work on getting stats included when the banners go live, but that there may be technical difficulties.

Go ahead and play them (if anything, just to get used to playing them). In another thread it ismentioned that the challenges are coming, and will be retroactive. BW, can you provide a quick comment for us regarding new char challenges?
