So, are we supposed to get a dragon chest after beating a dragon? I'm really confused about how their loot works. So far I've beaten 2 dragons, one on routine and one on threatening, once with someone else's Dragon's Call and once with mine. I never received a chest though... what is supposed to happen?
Dragon loot?

It is a card at the end of the match (right after killing the dragon). If it is a purple, you win!

You have a decent chance of getting dragon loot.
The twitch stream said about 1/10. That's about right for how many Perilous Dragon runs I've done vs how much loot I've gotten. Some people have been luckier than others (5+). I've got two unique Dragon items out of 10-20 successful perilous dragon runs.
The loot is progressively better for higher difficulties. I only bother with the Perilous, so that's what I go for. I've gotten both Bow of the Dragon (rare) and Unique from threatening and perilous respctively though.

Thanks for the responses! I guess I just haven't been lucky yet. I just couldn't remember if I got those army dirks from chests during those games or if they were from the dragon ![]()

There is a free chest in the store called Dragonslayer chest (I think?) maybe that's the chest you're thinking of?

As in, the OP dragon purple items categorically do not drop in below perilous?

From what I took from the stream yesterday they also drop in threatening - at a lower chance. Not sure about bronze.

They should remove common items from Threatening and Perilous and only allow high level blues and increase the gold drops.
At the moment, defeating a dragon is not worth the mats you waste on it, unless you are lucky.

You seem to think low end materials actually have value.
Even if the dragon dropped nothing, it would be worth it.

They have value when crafting weapon upgrades. Tier 3 stats are better to craft with than tier 1 and where the hell is the Tier 4 now we're slicing up dragons.

I guess I shouldn't tell you what I got from that dragon then, should I?

No, I got that one. I just didn't know how loot from dragons worked.

Anyone receive any loot from the Dragon on Perilous that is worthwhile? I got a rare level 16 Dragon Bow. I immediately dismantled it for scrap, because I have 3 different Griffon bows, and 2 Punched by the Makers I use.
Hopefully there's something better than the level 22/23 unique's I've had in my inventory for 4 months? I'd love to see some kind of upgrades to gear.

You were lucky, after 3 Perilous dragons vanquished I got 1 level 4 dagger (Army Dirk), 1 level 16 common bow (no idea, just pure crap) and 1 Lesser Fire Rune (the lower grade possible)... Let's just say it's very underwhelming for the effort you put into it...

I haven't gotten anything good from perilous dragon kills yet.
3 times, I got no loot at all, other 3 times, just trash.
My luck is horrible.

OK, for those who aren't getting loot/gold, were you host? Each time I got nothing I was host.
I know at least 1 time when I received nothing, I was not the host. A couple of other times when I received nothing, I was host.

The rewards for dragons seem to be a bit of a catch-22. The people who need better gear before they can brave Perilous have almost no chance of getting that gear, while the people who are already able to repeatedly beat Perilous get stuff they don't really need.
