My fiance and I were looking over Zithar's skill trees last night. She noticed that the picture for Sing-Along looked like an album cover for Queen. Sure enough, when I looked it up, it was. We started looking at the rest of Zithar's unique skills and passives and noticed that they were all some kind of album cover. We spent a couple of hours researching them, but there were four that we could not figure out at all. Here is what we have so far:

Can't Stop the Music - Smashing Pumpkins "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness"

Showmanship - Green Day "American Idiot"

Feel the Crowd - Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here"

Bolstering Ballad - David Bowie "Aladdin Sane"

Long Solo - Jimi Hendrix

Sing-Along - Queen

Fan Favorite - Guns 'n Roses "Appetite for Destruction"

Power Chord - Led Zepplin

Encore! - Loverboy "Get Lucky"

Aggressive Arpeggio - Black Sabbath "Paranoid"

Infernal Music - Motorhead

Cool Beats - Dr. Dre "The Chronic"

Play to the Crowd - Nirvana "In Utero"

A Little Knight Music - Daft Punk "Random Access Memories"

Winter Music - Franz Ferdinand

Killer Set - Metallica "Kill 'Em All"

Opening Set - Rolling Stones "Hot Rocks"

The ones we could not figure out are Fortifying Arpeggio, Battle of the Bands, Mark of the Riff, and Tempest Music.

If anyone can help us figure these four out, I'd be grateful.

Thanks!

That's cool but I don't feel like looking for the list of icons.
Can you post them?
I'm pretty good with my music, I may know

"A little Knight Music" might be inspired by "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (Mozart Serenade #13)

Not album covers, but maybe they'll lead to a right path?

Battle reminds me of Aerosmith's band logo

Mark makes me think of Freddie Mercury's infamous pose:

Mark of the Riff is killing me.  I know I've seen that, but can't place it.

I know! I said the same thing last night. My fiance and I searched for at least an hour on that one alone!

For Tempest Music, I'm reminded of Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party.

Today when I was checking over his skill trees I read "Knight-protector" as "Knight-producer" and thought "man, they really went all in for this..."

That. Is. So. Cool.

Tell us, Blair, how much of a say did you have in this?

edit:

I think Tempest Music is ACDC's "High Voltage". The pose is Walking Bomb, but the shape and positioning of the Lightning seems too perculiar.

Kinda off topic, but playing as Zither has made me long for another EA fantasy game that involved the power of rock and magic:

Do you have a description for the Mark of the RIff?  There might be a clue there...I noticed that Battle of the Bands mentions attack speed, which definitely goes along with the Ramones lol

I can see why you would marry this girl :P

Anyway, nice find. I noticed the sing-along one as well, but it didn´t cross my mind that it was a recurring theme across all abilities. That´s some awesome reference points.
