Not really an issue making people work a bit for the loot. But cloth drops are still quite the bottleneck - I wish they'd look at that.

Agreed.  I don't have that much time to play and the only class I want to try is the Virtuoso.  Getting that insane amount of cloth is going to take a long time...

Like I said, the argument that 10/10/5 is too little, too much, or just right, is NOT what I'm arguing.  The miscalculation of gold per mats that scene_cachet, and now you, are using is what I am addressing.  In that, you are both wrong.

Thanks for providing decent math instead of FUD & hyperbole others are spreading.

I don't think BW is going to lose any sleep that players have to actually save a little materials, or balance amongst their allies to spend for the priviledge of fighting dragons. They've already mentioned the cautionary warning about dragon calling. There's nothing stopping people from enjoying the castle map without summoning dragons. If you personaly decide it isn't worth it, you don't have to do it.

The rest of us that do decide its worth it, will enjoy the benefits of dragon weapons on perilous.

Cheaper finishing perilous runs
Very very good odds at dropping a new starting armor

People need to stop acting like a dragon run is much more effort than a normal run. I don't think they designed you to endlessly farm the dragons or there would have been no cost. If you run out of mats then stop calling the dragon or switch to the vanilla maps and grind some gold. I happened to have enough to craft the tier 2 armor for everyone and a few calls. That and blowing some mats on respecs. Its a resource you now have to monitor and be aware of.

It's still overpriced for the average player and you know it

Its not cheap but i think the designers could meet us un the middle. If they make the cost negligible then thete might as well not be one at all.

A fair argument.  Simply put: I am fighting dragons because it is fun to me.  If I get purps, great, but I still just like fighting dragons.
