The amount of lag, disconnects, and host migration is making this game unplayable. There's always challenges when implementing new dlc, I get that. But this seems uncharacteristic of Bioware (really? I know!)

This morning, my group spent over an hour trying to complete 1 game, to finally end up with the entire group booted out of the lobby back to the main mp screen, and tried again, only to have the same thing happen 20 min later. We went through at least 5 host migrations where we had to replay zone 3 and 4. We never got to the dragon. We used up 2 dragons calls and never got to fight the dragon.

2 of us in the group experienced the castle disappearing upon opening a door to the next zone, and when attempting to navigate through the gate to the next zone, they "fell through the world" and could not proceed. They had to exit the game and come back in.

The lag in game is annoying as well, can't walk up stairs without having to jump. Spell effects causing this issue?

Honestly, I've never played a game on my PS3 where I've experience so many connectivity issues. I never DC'd playing Destiny or FF14.

Hope these issues are in the process of being resolved. I'd love to play this new content, but right now, I'm having a rough time not breaking my controller and moving on to play other games.

Sincerely,

Frustrated gamer.

I couldn't even play last night, on my PS4.  I kept getting an ERROR message every time I tried to get a quick match going.  It only worked if I created a group by myself. That's certainly no FUN! :angry:

Was there a Zither(s) present?

If so, known issue.

Just had 2 host migrations in a row on zone 4. Yes, zither was present.

Yeah, he's insidious.

So fun to play, but he secretly wants to destroy your game.

So far I'm struggling with all those disconnects/bugs and their 100+ variations:

"Lost connection to the session", can someone please explain to me what this "session" is?

"(Some thing went wrong), session terminated", again I wish I were a network engineer to know more about the so called "session";

"Lost connection to Dragon Age server", standard EA/hamster server BS, guess Bioware can do nothing about it.

Load up a map, no skill icons and hud, character can't move, Alt+F4 and re-launch;

Load up a map, only to find zone 3/4 not loaded and just bland terrain, Alt+F4 and re-launch;

Hit "ready", end up in black screen, Alt+F4 and re-launch;

......

Played DAI SP for 100+ hours without any issues, also spent 1.5k hours in ME3MP, I don't think my pc/Internet setup is horrible enough to get these results in DAI MP.

I really like this DLC (while the game actually works) and think Bioware did a fantastic job, but those issues prevent me enjoying it any more.

It's worse now?

Pretty obviously worse now. Maybe due to Lute music warping the universe and crashing your game. Anyone grouped without the Virtuoso present experiencing Lag/Disconnects etc? I can't seem to find a game where the blasted Bard isn't present...
