OK, so if red lyrium is just lyrium with the darkspawn taint, why is everything in the Primaeval Thaig anathema and hostile to darkspawn? Why was it only ever discovered recently if it's been there this whole time? Why couldn't Grey Wardens like Anders immediately sense why exactly it was so weird? How can it predate the First Blight if Corypheus is the one who "discovered the darkness" as he so claims? What was that whole claim about the Rock Wraiths "feasting on gods" in the Primaeval Thaig?

Maybe the taint is beyond recorded history even spawn war amongst themselves

Perhaps wardens can only sense biological taint rather than pseudo geological taint
