Hi! I decided to try and replay Mass Effect 2 for the, litteraly 13th time, and i wanted to get some of the DLC that i haven't played, which are most of them. What really made me mad was the case that all the DLC packs, seperatly essentialy cost more than the full game at this point. The prices haven't budged an inch since their release which is really bizarre. It's a five year old game, so why can't we play the full experince without having to gouge our wallets and pay 40 $ on top of a 5$ game, which is ridiculus in itself. Please change this system and discount your Mass Effect DLC's in general! I don't want to have to be mad but i love this game and i want more people, me included, to experience the DLC content for a fair price.

The whole ME trilogy (with DLC) is available for the PC from Amazon for $29.99.

Let me guess - you play on a console?

MS and Sony have very strict policies on price changing. They don't want to lower their cut, so often DLC remains the exact same price from the day it comes out until the end of time. Developers don't want to go through the headaches of all the red tape just for a quick sale, so you never see discounts. Even if no one has downloaded the DLC in close to a decade.

No, i'm playing on pc, and i believe the culprit is these damned Bioware Points that have costed the same for several years now.

And regarding the previous post, i believe the trilogy doesn't include the DLC, only that Zaeed DLC that came with every copy of Mass Effect 2 via the Cerberus Network.

Hold the line...?

Yet another helpful post from the rapidly approaching middle age bald man.

I agree with OP.  Bioware Points are a scandal.

So where do the Bioware points come into play?

They act like Microsoft Points did, so they are like a seperate currency, and it hasn't gone down in price or on sale ever. Due to these points all the Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and Dragon Age Origins DLC cost as much as they did when they released in the first place. Dragon Age Origins is the only one you can work around by getting the Ultimate edition that includes all the DLC, but nothing similar has been released for the Mass Effect series, which is ridiculus.

The trilogy still doesn't come with any of the DLC, you have to buy all of them seperatly.

Fairly certain those just come with the ME1 dlc and Cerberus Network/Zaeed for ME2, so you're pretty much getting the vanilla games there with at least 50 or so bucks of dlc left.

I know how dare a company expect you to pay for content. scandelous its not as though you can spread the cost over time.

though i agree price drops would be cool. but you do get sails from time to time thats how i got the Citedel and Omega DLC.

Of course you should pay for their content, but the price hasn'r gone down since release. Shadow Broker and the likes should be like 5$ instead of 15$. That would be more reasonable. When did they have sales on the Citadel and Omega DLC? Was this on PC?

I've heard of something of that nature, but sadly those deals remained on the Xbox. On PC there has never been any sale of that nature regarding the DLC.

Yeah I have been looking regularly for years now...have never seen a PC sale. I would buy a whole lot of DLC for ME series if there would just be a sale. I have waited years, waiting a little longer won't be a problem.... The sad thing is, I suspect many gamers out there feel the same way. There are so many forums out there where people are just waiting for a Bioware points sale....why is it taking so long? :)
