Mount archers on the dragon's back.
LOL sheesh... that just reminded me of an Xwing mission where you had to destroy as much of an Imperial convoy as possible. Tough part—Imperial Lancer escorts—mid-sized frigates bristling with lasers (the short kid who would punch yer lights out). Made it one hella tough mission.

As I eluded to in another post:
1. Would be pointless, I don't think anyone would play it. If anything, they need to make it possible to toggle on/off promotions. That way those that choose to challenge themselves, or perform true thunderdome challenges can do it on an equal playing field.
2. Increasing enemy levels would be fine. Similar increase in difficulty as the jump from Threatening to Perilous.
I would personally prefer the following:
A combination of 2 with added random encounters. 3 dragons at once, minibosses in each zone or both!

Ninja zombies.
Venatori commander riding on the dragons back, but only if she is wearing a chain mail bikini and thigh boots. The commander, not the dragon that is...
Nug traps. Yes, exploding bunnies that can facemelt an entire group when it dies.
Giant wolf boss. Given the hp of animals, this should take some time to kill. Also, he should sit licking his balls until you summon him using a squeaky rubber ball and a tummy rub.
Random scenery traps.
Ninja zombie dragon riding s+m nug boss. With ball licking.

3 bosses + Pride Demon + a dragon
They all combine to form Giga-Pride-Dragon-Megazord with an endless wave of enemies until the boss dies (the adds don't give EXP)

That sounds disgusting and vaguely familiar.
Solo'd Perilous+Dragon as AW. It was semi-fun for a bit.

Teleport zones levels.
We have seen how they on the dragon levels have the dragons breath and players getting burned or frozen or zapped. Hit a a teleport zone and the party is zapped individually all over the map.

Enemies having walking bomb passive could be interesting.

On a more serious note :
1. Random spawn points for mobs
2. Remove the red dot for the mobs on the mini map.
3. Up the hp / damage mobs do.
Also, ninja zombie dragons.

The problem with removing the benefits of promotions is that many people already play perilous without many promotions, so the new difficulty wouldn't really be all that different.
I think that simply giving enemies more HP only works up to a point - eventually, taking too long to die removes any gratification from setting fire to, sniping, or swinging your sword at your enemies. I think that enemies in current perilous strike a good balance between difficulty and gratification.
Having said that, it'd be fine to increase damage output of enemies and number of enemies. Six Pride Demons with the Demon Commander would be...glorious.
In my opinion, the best way to go about it would be simply introducing friendly fire. It'd work exactly like it does in singleplayer, except that it changes buffs as well - if you accidentally hit an enemy with barrier or most of the Virtuoso's skills, they get the buff too. I admit, however, I would rather have a friendly fire toggle on every difficulty setting than simply having a single difficulty setting with friendly fire always on. Completing a game with friendly fire on could give you a greater exp and gold reward.

Won't happen.

Druffy with stealth.
Mages with dispel.
A wave of giants.
Mass spawns mid wave
AI combos like shields/ranged, barrier on shadows.
2 types of Dragon flying around

Exactly! With friendly fire, mages in general would be completely screwed over! Mages are fairly easy to play compared to the other classes, so it'd be very interesting to see them played more tactically, and skills used more situationally. It'd also be neat if Walking Bomb's virulence could spread to allies (which it doesn't currently do in singleplayer), just to make sure the Necromancer gets in on the love (although it's worth noting that Walking Bomb's explosions do hurt allies, so maybe that extra change would be a little mean...). Meanwhile, 2h warriors would feel a lot of pain, loads of skills like Explosive Shot, Elemental Mines, and even upgraded Long Shot on occasion would have to be used very carefully. Even players like the Legionnaire, who wouldn't have to change strategy too much, would still suffer from the different team composition and less spammed, more situational use of powerful skills like Immolate and Walking Bomb.
In general, it would introduce a lot more strategy and tactical team thinking ![]()
No one would make it out of zone 1 if they had friendly fire...
Haha not initially, no. But that's the point, it would present a much greater challenge, requiring different strategies and relying on different skills. I still remember in singleplayer, when I switched friendly fire on half way through, I developed a newfound appreciation for Energy Barrage and Static Cage (which for some reason doesn't hit allies), and a deep, deep hatred for Wall of Fire, Fire Mine (upgraded hits allies), Immolate (which kills Sera in one shot
), Blizzard, and especially...
the mighty arcane warrior would. >: D
Chain Lightning! Chain lightning can hit your team with friendly fire, even the caster :3 In fact, in my singleplayer experience, it would prioritise hitting you over the enemies!
So, no, perhaps the Arcane Warrior wouldn't make it out either
Now I'm really curious about Pull of the Abyss, I never used it in singleplayer, but I suspect it would hit allies and yourself too...
Imagine the trolling.....
I know! Wouldn't it be glorious! But in all seriousness, this is another reason why I'd prefer a friendly fire toggle on all difficulties, instead of having just one difficulty with friendly fire on. This way you could use it when playing with friends and you want a serious challenge, but most PUG games would have it off
And it's not like anyone who dislikes it needs to switch it on, anyway.

Add a few banshees, geth hunters and rocket troopers. That'd be a fun weekend challenge.
*beep beep* is it a double rocket? It is!
That beep noise was the worst thing they ever added to the Mass Effect series.......aside from the bomber.
I still have nightmares about being double teamed by rokkit geff and their little bomber friends.
Stealth archers........it's coming people.

Apparently Caltrops is prone to friendly fire and is 360-degree. Hall can't even make it out of his own Caltrops!

Idea 1 with no promotions bonuses and perilous difficulty.
If possible - I would also suggest that no equipment could be equipped and all characters only got their default inquisition weapons.. =D
