I played DA:I for around 125 + Hrs and before I seas set out to play I seen some videos and pictures of people's characters and there follfollowers/npc characters and I seen Cole in his Master Prowler Armor dropped from one of the High Dragons and that set sold the game for me, so I brought DA:I and rolled a melee assassin, played threw loving the game , got to the Dragon and got the loot and was so excited to use it, once I equiped it I was upset at how it was the normal armor for the Inquestior and I know people are just going to say well it's just how it is or I'm fine with it etc and I understand the NPCs get there unique armor but I did feel Dissapointed and stopped playing for a day or so and of course came back to finish the gsme but after that I set the gsme down and didn't look at it in till recently but only reminded of the disappointment and now I am here wishing there were Unique armor models for our Inquisitor or even a DLC to use the appearnces of the NPCs unique models and I know for a fact I would still be playing this game of I could have the apparence of said armor (mainly Coles Masterwork armor) I just hope there's either going to be DLC for this or some type of content and at least in the next game there's more Unique models I know there's a lot of people that agree with me.
Sorry for the wall of text everyone that reads this
TL;DR Want to have the Master Prowler Armor that looks like it does on Cole and that there was more Unique armor models

I agree that I want more unique looking armos for my Inquisitor. The 'iconic' look is fine, but it's also very limiting, especially since we've seen that there are tons of different types of armor in the game that's just worn by NPCs.

Well the problem is that it is basically just a complete body model, not just an armor.
Let's take Dorian's various robe models. Those are all done for the human male body. There does not exist a female version, or an elf, qunari, or dwarf version of either gender. We can also use more form-fitting examples like Vivienne or Sera, who very obviously have female human and elf bodies respectively. These can't just be used on alternate forms.

Yes pleeeeease more Inky armor. Adding bits of metal doesn't make the two choices we have very entertaining :x

When they stream-lined the armor sets to a singular piece they sort of shot themselves in the foot for making anything very unique. The parts you add via crafting don't make much of a difference either, as they as @Never pointed out "Adding bits of metal doesnt make the two choices we have very entertaining" I would have much preferred if they kept the original chest/gloves/legs/head. At least then I could have a chain chest and plate boots/gloves to make it look somewhat interesting.
It's not just the style of the gear that suffers with the current way we have things, which yes it does greatly; I haven't seen such a drab assortment of gear since the age old games like Daggerfall. Its also the versatility that takes a hit with the current system of things, the gear the way it is now just allows you to add attributes based on adding craft-able parts to a given suit of armor; it doesn't increase in actual defense at all which doesn't make a lick of sense to me. My gorgeous pair of tier three Battlemaster Coat Legs shouldn't just give me strength and a chance to knock you back but should add to the sturdiness and effectiveness of the armor they're applied to.

I would kill a High Dragon with my bare hands for Cullens armor.
