I have played all three games multiple times. I have multiple copies of 2 and 3. I have at least two pieces of ME apparel in the house. I have at least one ME figure in the house, assuming it hasn't been repurposed by the kids or dog for something heinous. I have close to 3000 hours on multiplayer part of ME3 and a shitton of shitposts on BSN. My middle child has screamed "BIG MACHINE" when we were in traffic behind a combine before on the way to school. 

 

Can anyone top me in sad existence? Let's hear your dorkiest story about ME spilling over into RL.

I went above and beyond. I had a roomate who was an ME fan. One time he was super drunk, and he got the hanar and drell mixed up. Of all the two races to mix up, it was those two. It was beautiful.

So my ME fandom is so strong it infects people around me. And makes them reach for the ryncol.

Played the entire trilogy 7-8 times. Since the first time I played ME1 was after ME3 release, I always finished the trilogy when I started a playthrough. 

I have over 2000 hrs in MP, and considering that I started playing after all balance changes were made, that's a lot.

 

Weirdest RL story involving ME:

I once went to a Physics conference and met someone who does similar work to mine. We started talking some physics stuff, but somehow during the conversation, I found out that he plays Mass Effect (don't even ask me how it came up - it's a long winded story) and then the conversation took an unexpected turn and we started talking about Mass Effect, abandoning our original discussion.

I figured knowing too much minutia about ME was bad enough (would easily beat Avina if she did the quizquisition thing in ME), but I don't think I really have any stories about it creeping into real life.  Although I have used the term "space magic" a few times in conversation.

Let's see... i have the Collectors' edition for ME2 and ME3, I have a framed ME3 poster over my desk, and all the Mass Effect books (Deception doesn't exist, it was all a bad dream). I also played through ME1 and ME2 13 times, and ME3 5 times so far. Plus, I also spent some time in ME3MP, both on Xbox and and PC.

I have no idea how many suspensions I've had. None since the new board came out but plenty on the old board.
