... and I remembered way too quickly why I left. I despise the community.

Basically, I want to keep playing since I got the Avaar and really like it, but randoms copletely and utterly ruin everything.

 

What times do I need to be on to not want to murder every random I see? I'm sure some of the regulars have it figured out by now.

Don't know why people don't do doors. You get like no gold if you skip them. It doesn't take long to do them. Lots are skipping doors and pots on the new map. Pots I can understand (I don't know where they are all likely to be yet) but doors? I think the last threatening match I played on the new map I got about 300 gold. That's it

I will always open a door even if there's 20 enemies around us.

Inform the door/chest skippers that the devs have confirmed here that every chest you open increments your odds of finding better loot when you open chests.

Saying you don't open doors/chests because they aren't worth it is self defeating and demonstrably wrong now.  

The only reason to skip now is having all BIS gear.

 

What kills me are the free door skippers.

"That's a free rogue door"

"Seriously, you are standing right beside a free rogue door, please open it."

"Why aren't you opening that free rogue door? The chest is right there, not even down a long hallway." 

"Oh, we're zoning in to the next area.."

"Great, that was a free door, but sure, let's just skip it"

After playing a bit more since the DLC dropped, I realized something.

 

- If I have a well built character and I go into Perilous? "NO DOORS EVER!"
 

- If I stick to Routine/Threatening to level up? "YO IMMA SPAM CALLS BY TREASURE ROOMS!"

 

The second one is actually more annoying since they're still mashing the button as you open the door, but at least I know to just not do perilous since all they care about is Exp blitzes for promotions.

It's tough man, I play on PS3 and pug most of the time. I have slowly collected a friends list of competent and friendly players to get private matches going. But most of the time, I end up just pugging and some days get lucky and other days don't. I find that If i play a match and the team is bad, I just drop and find another match. But if they are good, or i see potential I will hold onto that party as well as I can and send friend requests.
