Still can't connect to cerberus possible FIX

not to be a rant but its like a thorn in the back of you're head. i tried connecting to the cerberus network for the whole day and nothing is happening. and i can't even get the DLC's to work because they need to be aurthorized witch sucks badly. is there any way to solve this??

I FIXED IT all i did was to uninstall and re install my anti virus AVG
so if anyone has this problem this may be one of the solutions

Same here. I registered the Cerberus Network outside the game, but when I try to connect in game it asks me for my guardian's email (WTF?) and then says it can't connect.

Yeah, mines telling me "Communication with the Mass Effect 2 server was interrupted or has timed out. Please try again later." It doesn't even think about trying, it just pops right up.

Ports are opened.

Edit: Heh, just found out what it was. I had peerblock on. I feel like an idiot now.

I was able to get the Cerberus screen up and download 2 of the 3 items offered, the new recruit Zaeed however was not made an option to download though it showed it as an option on the game. Anyone have this problem or solution?

Uhhh, not it shows up on the opening screen so problem solved for now, thank goodness!
