So for my current play through, my Inquisitor is romancing Cassandra. I was just wondering whether having her in my party while I'm out adventuring contributes anything to the romance, in regards to banter. Will she comment on the relationship, will other members comment on her relationship with the Inquisitor, etc? I'm asking because I would honestly like to replace her with Iron Bull as a tank warrior. Her usual banter is a bit too serious for my taste. I'd like to have a "fun" party consisting of (Varric, Iron Bull, Dorian, or Sera). If having Cassandra in the party doesn't really add anything to the romance relationship in regards to banter, then I'll just replace her.
Romance in party composition, does it matter?

Most of the romances have at least one banter comment by the other party members if your LI is in the group, but other than that there isn't anything special. You also MIGHT (this is a huge MIGHT here) get a romance oriented post-battle remark -- Dorian's is, "Are you all right, amatus? Good, so am I." -- But, I've only gotten one once in hundreds of hours, so it's not like it's guaranteed or anything.

Like most things banter-related, the answer is yes but it can be tricky to get them to fire. I got a pretty funny romance interchange between Cass, Viv, and Quizzy, but only after a lot of walking together.

I agree. It makes you feel you are not alone in this hard life of yours.

It happens, but occasionally and if you are one of the players that gets less banter or none, you might miss it sometimes.
I romanced Blackwall and I remember one of my companions commented about it. I think it was Solas. Cole talks about you and Solas (Cole comments on every relationship from what I can tell), and Cass does too. Dorian and IB when romancing the Inquisitor have some of the best romance banter, and I think Varric and Cass talk about her relationship with your Inquisitor also. Also in JOH Dorian will comment on your LI during a certain quest if you reply the right way.
I noticed the longer you keep the same companions in the group, the more they seem to develop their own companionship with each other, or just become more use to the other and talk more.

As far as I know, these are all the banters for a romance with Cassandra (if I forgot anything, please let me know):
- Cassandra/Dorian
- Cassandra/Bull (2 conversations)
- Cassandra/Vivienne
- Cassandra/Sera (2 conv.)
- Cassandra/Varric (5 conv., some of them are focused on Bianca too, so they should start once you complete "Well, ****")

Lol yeah my bad. It's because I always pass through there to find the Spires, unless you are one of those people who try and open up all the camps first, most people find it during the quest, so my friends and I keep referring it to that one quest. ![]()
