I am one of those folks that saw 0 value in crafting all armours.  just seemed like such a waste of mats tbh.  glad I went that route since I had a ***load of mats saved up.

I only craft the armors I want to equip, so have just barely enough mats to craft Izzy and the Skywatcher and then the higher tier armor and one upgrade to that for all classes.

I am glad I got Zither! in my Dragon Chest, as he is my favorite so far.

As to why Isabela costs so much: because as my Sarcasta-Hawke knows, Isabela is not cheap.

I, myself, burnt out from the lack of content some time ago, and only recently came back. I had every character, and at least serviceable weapons for everyone. My biggest shortcoming was only 4 promotions; +1 Str, +1 Will, +2 Cunning.

Naturally, I didn't even have enough cloth for even the Avaar (who I got for free in my Pack.) After salvaging a massive backlog of upgrades I kept forgetting to salvage, I am now only one Silk Brocade short of getting Isabela. Zither, though? Ouch.

I think Bioware shot themselves in the foot with this one. The banter in Multiplayer was a novel IDEA. Give each character a personality and name, a reason to give a crap? Fine. But because their lines played off one another, any new character they added would take that much more work to fit in. As it is, I can tell some of the lines the vanilla characters say to the new ones are stock and generic. By comparison, ME3 multiplayer was far more varied in the class selection since they were just able to slap new kits together, which made the game more fun than spending so long with the same 12 characters for over half a year.

And then, once the new content is actually out, they dangle it over our heads, because "we needed a mat sink!?" No. Not cool. Way to punish the people who came back rather than farming promotions the entire time. Maybe if the game was actually getting noteworthy support, wasn't so viciously RNG based with NO way around it (I have not gotten a new bow better than my Elusive Icebow since December. It's only a Level something-teen Blue. For comparison, in ME3, only the ultra rares were so stupid.)

Bioware, I love you guys, but please, consider what I'm saying. If you want a mat sink, just add schematics so we can build our own weapons instead of being completely at the mercy of the RNG! You don't need to make new classes, aka what's most worth looking forward to/ waiting for, an ordeal to attain!
