Any chance of getting keeper barrier to dispel fear?

No. Just no. There is a skill for that. It's called Dispel. Barrier is powerful enough as is, and getting people to use Dispel is like pulling teeth despite it's immense usefulness.

I mistyped, I meant dispel. It currently does not remove fear.

Geez, give someone the moon and they'll ask for the stars.

Last I checked, it did. I made a Youtube video using it on the Arcane Warrior and had no problem repeated Dispelling Panicked allies from the Demon Commander.

Spell Purge also works for it as well, albeit SP is a non-targetable AoE.

Wow, you good sir! Delivered you did and in a spectacular fashion! That wave of soloing an entire wave with Caltrops moved me more than A Beautiful Mind, The Schindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption, Finding Nemo and Magic Mike all at once!

And I stand corrected. Clearly, Caltrops is too OP now. Nerf!

Good thing I got that caltrops ring eh. Since longshot is getting nerfed might as well replace it with the new god-skill.

HOLY SH*T!

*clears throat*

Very well.

*bows and leaves*

edit:

Now that I've regained my composure - I love you guys so hard right now. You gave Thornton an awesome push in the right (!) direction, focusing on his more individual skills. I love it.

edit2:

I think it's cool you're using their actual names. We all should do that more often, BioWare-dev-guy!

Luke, what exactly is tweak able in this fashion without requiring a patch? I'm assuming simple value changes, like Mass Effect did? Or is it possible to perhaps add effects to abilities and things like that?

Mostly just numbers such as costs, damage and cooldowns but unfortunately it's more like 90% of everything that has a number can be tweaked. Adding additional things would take a patch so while it doesn't mean they won't be coming it just means they'll be in chunks every so often.

I like this type of changes, numbers can sometimes change a lot.

Is it possible to fix bugs like stone fist detonation damage in that way or it need some patch?

As for the changes.
Main problem with "poison" is not damage but where they are in skill tree. Hunter and Alchemist skill trees are made in that way that everything is on the end. You want throwing daggers -> all down, you want toxic cloud the same.

As for the alchemist and flask. Main problem is not how they work but what to do with them. Buffed duration of frost flask could make some use, but fire flask? What to use in that time there is nothing special to use really.

Lunge and slash buff looks huge, 2 hits for base 300% buffed with 250% at max range.
Unbowed looks very promising. With cooldown that short it's best guard generator in game.
Walking fortress nerf will hit those undergeared/underpromoted. More of those you have less walking fortress you need (and because of crit chance your cooldown are better) and faster you can use all your skills. It's still great skill for me mostly because it makes lego CC immu.

Necromancer is one skill pony and everybody knows it. Ice magic lacks pretty much everything, costs a lot of mana, deals poor damage. Blizzard set freeze to slow, ice mine is like every mine clunky, ice clash imo costs too much mana.
Mind blast is bugged and don't work properly after getting killed, no barrier. Without walking bomb this class just does not exists.

Neria also got in on the DoT love with a much-needed change to the duration of those spells. Walking Bomb took a hit to its damage, but now it has an extra DoT tick and costs slightly less mana. The best part? All three DoTs now last the same length (12 seconds)! This higher value also strengthens some of her passives even more.
Horror (Necromancer)

  • Duration increased from 6 seconds to 12 seconds
  • Damage increased from 50% to 150%

Walking Bomb (Necromancer)

  • Mana cost reduced from 65 to 50
  • Duration increased from 10 seconds to 12 seconds
  • Damage reduced from 200% to 150%

Neria is the keeper. You were looking for Sidony. #proofread4lyfe

I spent all my proofreading budget on coming up with stupid titles for each section :P  (fixed)

You know, now I kind of wish Thornton had caltrops. You could have a build of 100% traps :D

love the changes so far, Luke is it possible to get a buff to guard in the future? would go a long way in helping most of the warriors.

edit: longshot nerf hurts a little bit, however the archer should still remain a solid class despite the nerf.

I think longshot is actually doing less damage for me than explosive shot now.  Did it accidentally get taken down to 250% damage instead of 400%?

(Did you ever think the day would come when you would consider replacing longshot with caltrops?  :D )

edit: completely unrelated, but what does the knockout bomb upgrade comatose actually do?  The tooltip is a bit lacking.

I for one am looking forward to caltrops becoming closer to their pre-release counterparts. I know it seems crazy to imagine, but early on they were GODLY in terms of their slowing effects and DOT.

Can "All Together Now" be fixed without a patch too? It's the Virtuoso Sing-Along upgrade, 10% heal on kill. Is it planned? Currently it doesn't do anything.

"If enemies die while Sing-Along is in effect, all allies in the area regain health.

Health Amount: 10%, Radius: 8 Meters, Duration: 8 Seconds"

I will look up that detailed tool tips megathread mentioned in this topic. Looking forward to tomorrow.

As someone who has only a couple promotions under my belt...  I'm REALLY going to feel that Walking Fortress nerf.   -_-  I think that hurt the undergeared people more than anyone.  Guess I'll have to adapt, and see what comes of it.

I am pleased with the Reaver buff.  I may give her another try.
