I absolutely love most of these changes! Yet all I can think about is how strong the community could have been for this game if this kind of support was given in January instead of May. Why oh why did it take 6 months to get them?
I wonder if it had anything to do with waiting for respec items to be implemented. Whatever the reason, it's incredibly exciting to see this kind of forum and community participation now ![]()

I'm right here, still advocating for Warcry instead of Unbowed.
Getting aggro is still the Templars weakness.
From a Guard generation perspective, my current build isn't going to change since it already had Unbowed (and Bodyguard), but I suppose Unbowed will be more of an "Oh ****!" button than it was previously.
Venatori Commander battles will be far more interesting now, I like it all, even the Archer Long Shot nerf!

I agree with most of these, but one thing that stood out to me was the Walking bomb buff. I don't think that was necessary. Winter's grasp would've benefited more.
Having these much earlier would've probably kept me interested.

I just got into the necromancer recently and now nerfed ![]()
And then my favorite class finally gets a purple bow (and not even one of the best purple bows from what I hear; I'm definitely not shooting 3 arrows at once) after 6 MONTHS with a crappy gray bow and he's hit with a big fat nerf! ![]()

I don't even mind the nerf to long shot,.. but the lego?
Come on man, that was just mean,... The poor guy had One Job!
The nerf, like many have said, only really hurts players with low promotes and/or poor gear.
The people with high promotes didn't need to play the lego anyways, they have several other options for surviving in perilous pugs.
I approve.
In all seriousness, though, these buffs sounds great. I get the nerfs too, they seem fair. Some shorter WF, some less walking bomb damage, a weaker Archer's lance... It actually sounds like the classes become more balanced, so the Hunter won't be considered a 2nd tier Archer you pull out when you're tired of spamming Longshot. Alchemist and Hunter are my favorite rogue classes, hopefully now I won't get kicked out of the lobby when picking an Alchemist at Perilous ![]()
And this has nothing to do with anything but tonight I dreamt I was playing DAIMP with Luke and his test crew while they were running around on a level that was half Narnia and half Fereldan castle... I should probably stay out of the BSN forums for a while ._.
Double Full Draw nerf, Longshot nerf... Explosive shot better be awesome now because Archer is running out of actual archery abilities.

Curious, though, is the game being balanced more around high promotions or low promotions here?
Mostly good stuff, although as a frequent archer without a longshot ring, and recent fan of the Legio but not having many promotions to up my critical chance, I'm taking some nerfs. Despite my love of archering, longshot was probably a bit too good, so I'm ok with that one. The lower duration on walking fortress seems pretty huge to players with low stats and / or less than great gear. Not a fan of that.

It was a justified nerf to long shot, in case you didn't realize, caltrops is the true defining ability of any seasoned archer.

- Damage increased from 50% to 100%

- Health return increased from .2% per 1% to .4% per 1%
- Stamina cost reduced from 65 to 35
- Cooldown time reduced from 12 seconds to 8 seconds
Ring of Pain (Reaver)
- Starting stamina cost reduced from 10 to 5
Shield Bash (Templar, Legionnaire)
- Damage increased from 300% to 400%
Despair Demon
- Evade cooldown time increased from 2 seconds to 10 seconds
