The best part? All three DoTs now last the same length (12 seconds)!

Varriety is over-rated anyway. Then again I do expect Duelist nerf, because Isabela is too much fun to play, we cant have that.

Its going to be interesting how all the adjustments change the game.

These changes are fantastic Luke.  Having the level of developer interaction that we have seen recently has been wonderful.  Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeves now that the DLC is behind you.

On polish version of dragon age on PC those changes doesn't work. Tooltips aren't updated and I've tested Walking Bomb and it's still costs 65 mana.

I think this is fantastic, Improving the classes that are underplayed, while not making the overplayed classes unplayable, hopefully Devs don't go too overboard with this.

 

I'm unsure about Walking Bomb, Necro's weren't really common to see before, and WB was pretty much their only decent skill.
Since Legos were pretty much unkillable after level 13, I can see by WF is nerfed, but it's only 2 seconds. I've personally used Lunge and Slash for a while in my Lego, I doubt the things trying to kill me will survive after that 6 seconds anyway, especially with the L&S buff, a trade off I'm happy with.

 

Poison Cloud <3 People won't think I'm so insane when I drop it now, that'll be nice, I'm trying to hide that fact.

 

The other changes seem pretty balanced too, brings the game to being team focused rather than every player doing their own thing

Adding additional things would take a patch so while it doesn't mean they won't be coming it just means they'll be in chunks every so often.

 

Except for the mages I don't put points in AoE abilities anymore, because I really prefer to play with mouselook on. So is there a chance for a controls overhaul of the mouselook /AoE abilities combination?

Love these changes.  That Exterminator challenge has been giving me the side eye for a while and I just didn't have the heart to grind it out.

 

Now I can build Luca as The Spleen.  Death by Flatulence awaits!

Wow, I am in agreement with most BSNrs.  Quite the balance changes indeed.

 

As the Archer, I can say that I am actually okay with the Long Shot nerf.  It is such an easy power to use and rack up twice the kills of the rest of the team, while eating with the other hand (yes, I'm serious).

 

Will have to play the base characters more and see how the changes affect them. 

 

Caltrops!!  Really unexpected, but glad to hear it.  I am going to start up my Archer tonight and use Caltrops.  LOL, I just said I'd use Caltrops.

They are already live. Luke will just go over them in detail on today's stream.

Tool tips in the Multiplayer Menu will be out of date. If you check while in a lobby, they will update.  We'll look to correct this in the future, but wanted to start getting the balance changes running each week.  The server pulls the data at the time a lobby is created/joined.

I wonder if it had anything to do with waiting for respec items to be implemented.  Whatever the reason, it's incredibly exciting to see this kind of forum and community participation now :D


That's the problem though as the community is a fraction of what it could have been. At one time this community was fantastic, then we had series of incidents with a specific Bioware employee and the community just died. It's great to finally see these changes and a major DLC but with other major releases coming soon I don't see this community growing beyond its current size. The game is far too gear dependent and unfriendly towards new players, especially with the cloth discrepancy. I'm still glad to see Bioware starting to deliver on what was promised but it was horribly managed from the start.

BLuke, can you also increase the drop rate of Might Offence potion?  I receive a load of Lyrium potions from chests, which my mages appreciate greatly.  Just need some mo warrior love.
